As President of the Denver Theatrical Stage, Film and Exhibition Employees, IATSE Local 7, contact was made to Kristine to aid us in the development of a new logo that would help us better speak to our local's past, the present and future. Our labor local was organized on December 3, 1891 and has been active in our industries since that time; highly active with a skilled work force that continues to establish our place and presence in the industries in which we serve, in the political arena and in the communities in which we all live and work. To say that Kristine caught the vision is somewhat like saying Attile the Hun was a troublemaker - except in a most positive, productive, creative and energetic manner. She took us far beyond what we had as an original concept - manipulated, refined, drew, redrew, redrew yet again to make sure that we were more than satisfied. Were we and are we? Well, next we turned Kristine loose on our business cards. I mean turned this most creative and energetic person loose. With her at the printers location looking at sample after sample, Kristine looking at the arrangement, the colors, the fonts, the type, etc., etc., etc. When I was ready to say "That looks good," Kristine's response was, "Not yet." Her final approval brought to us the most elegant, clear, simple and strongly stated information on a business card that I have ever had the privilege to display. As a past Senior Vice-President and COO of a 1,000 person organization in Southern California, as a past Project Manager for the City and County of Denver, as a past independent scenic artist for both stage and film work, I had come to know just a bit about business cards. When I tell you these most recent cards are wonderful, go back to comparing Attila to a trouble maker - only in a positive measure. And so we turned to creating a new parade banner with the new logo. Our previous parade banner was simply worn out. Beautiful, but worn out. Our banner is not quite done - but wait until you see it. Wowser!! The same is true for the new logo that will be displayed in the front window of our union office. Believe me, you will immediately know who we are and what we are about - past,present and future. We used Ashlee Crowden Photography for my sisters wedding, and I couldnt be happier with the photographs we received. Having a critical artistic eye myself, I was very particular about who would photograph my sisters wedding. I knew after the day was over and the memories would fade, the photos would be all we would have left to remember the special day. After seeing Ashlees website and portfolio, other photographers work did not compare to hers. Her attention to detail, artistic eye, use of the right flattering angles, and phenomenal editing skills were some of the things I noticed about her work right from the start. Ashlee developed a schedule for my sisters wedding day which was helpful for everyone involved. On my sisters actual wedding day, working with Ashlee was a great experience. She was very professional, friendly and organized. Three things, in my opinion, that a photographer should be.
