Hi Markie, We are disappointed to see your negative review and would like to address some of your concerns. We did not show up charge you $59 and leave. This a misguided representation of the amount of work we did for you. Below please see the full scope of work performed for the $59 and the diagnoses from that work. Technician arrived at the clients home to check out the boiler system. -I started my check by checking the condition of the heat exchanger. It is in OK condition and not leaking. -I checked the burners and found that the burners and pilot are both very dirty and should be cleaned. When the burners and pilot get dirty they start to cause the flame to burn poorly which leads to ash, soot, CO, CO2 and other issues. All can be harmful and life threatening. -I checked the pump and it is working well. -I checked the aqua-static relay and it is working well and shutting the boiler off at the set point accurately -I checked the pressure of the boiler and found that the pressure in the boiler is getting to almost 30 psi when at temperature. This pressure is very high. The fill valve is letting too much water into the boiler system and should be replaced. The expansion tank is not working properly and isn't absorbing the pressure of the thermal expansion. I checked the tank and its air pressure is low and there is moisture inside of the air chamber. The tank should be replaced. -I checked the boiler gauge and compared it to the boilers actual pressures. The actual temps versus what the the gauge reads is not accurate at all and should be replaced. -I checked for gas leaks and didn't find any. I did notice that the boilers gas line has an old style gas shut off that doesn't comply with today's codes. I recommend replacing it with a new gas shut off that can be shut off by hand. -I checked the thermostat and it is working. -I noticed that the floor was damp behind the boiler but could not find any active leaks. -I cycled the boiler on and off and it is functioning 177 degrees 29 psi We stand 100% behind our recommendations for repair and feel you have an unsafe boiler by not making the recommended repairs.

Our water heater died at 7 o'clock on a Thursday evening, right as we were about to give our toddler a bath. We called Brothers who said they could come out at 10am the following morning. They were right on time and extremely professional and courteous. They replaced our water heater for just under $3K (a 50 gallon) and the tech was incredibly informative about everything he was doing. Before he left, he made sure to go over the job -in detail- with us to ensure we understood what he'd done and that the job had been completed to our satisfaction.
