- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Tutor Doctor, we start with a free in-home consultation to learn about your educational goals and special needs. We believe the tutor match is very important, so we also learn about the student's likes and dislikes and a bit about their personality . Once we all agree on the goals, we ensure we meet them by providing the best tutor. Going forward, the program adjusts to continue to meet the needs of the family.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our tutors are either graduate students, certified teachers or experts in their fields. They go through a rigorous interview process and have national background checks (including county record searches). We also offer ongoing training, materials and support for both curriculum standards and Tutor Doctor proprietary programs.
