FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique, so pricing is based on the scope of work, level of involvement, and overall project goals. I offer everything from one-time consultations and design guidance to full-service interior design, home staging, furnishing, and renovation support. During our initial conversation, we'll discuss your goals, priorities, timeline, and investment range so I can recommend the most appropriate service option for your needs. My clients typically come to me when they're looking for a thoughtful, personalized approach and want to make confident decisions that enhance both the beauty and functionality of their home. Whether you're refreshing a single room or transforming multiple spaces, my goal is to create a clear plan that maximizes impact and helps you avoid costly mistakes. I believe great design is an investment in how you experience your home every day, and I strive to create solutions that deliver lasting value long after the project is complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project begins with a conversation. I want to understand how you live, what challenges you're experiencing with your space, what inspires you, and what goals you hope to achieve. From there, my process typically includes: • Discovery & Consultation • Design Direction & Concept Development • Space Planning & Layout Recommendations • Furniture, Finish & Material Selections • Design Presentation & Refinement • Implementation Support & Styling (when applicable) One thing that sets my process apart is the amount of time I spend understanding how my clients actually live in their homes. Great design is not just about creating a beautiful space. It's about creating a space that supports your routines, reflects your personality, and functions effortlessly for everyday life. My goal is to simplify decision-making, remove the overwhelm, and create a finished space that feels intentional, cohesive, and uniquely yours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background combines lifelong exposure to custom home construction, furniture, and design with years of hands-on project experience. My father was a custom home builder, so I grew up on job sites learning how homes are constructed from the ground up. At the same time, my aunt and uncle owned a furniture store where I became fascinated by furniture quality, showroom presentation, space planning, and how thoughtful styling influences the way people experience a space. Over the years, I've continued to build upon that foundation through interior design projects, renovations, home staging, finish selections, furniture sourcing, space planning, installation, and project management. This combination allows me to approach projects from both a creative and practical perspective, considering not only how a space will look, but how it will function, be built, and ultimately be lived in. Clients often appreciate that I can bridge the gap between vision and execution, helping them make design decisions that are both beautiful and realistic.
