I contacted Ted because he offered a reasonable rate and was available the same day. He came on time and put his heart in assembling the furniture. He is courteous and friendly which will put anybody at ease. Though it took longer than we both anticipated (almost 2 hrs), he didn't complained about it once and not charge me extra for that. I would recommend him very highly for anybody debating to hire him.

I needed a handyman quick after trying and failing to do the job myself the day before. I spoke to Jamie late the day before and he showed up the next afternoon to help me hammer in curtain rods in my Living Room & Dining room. He was very professional, coming with his own tools - including a ladder and extra wall brackets (What are those?!) that I didn't even know I needed. he was quick and efficient - pushing furniture back where it was and not leaving a mess, (which I really appreciated, as I have a toddler in the house). I will definitely be keeping his number for future projects and would recommend him to anyone needing a good handy man!

I had chairs of different sets that needed to be fixed, refinished, upholstered etc... The work was done beautifully, in a timely manner and with a smile. I am now setting time for my daughter to have furniture repaired as well. I was very satisfied.

Dan was hired to assemble and install IKEA cabinets in the kitchen. He did an impressive job they look beautiful. It was part of remodeling of our kitchen and as a contractor he scheduled his time around and with both the electrician and plumber. It soon became apparent that his skills on other parts of the renovation was invaluable. He opened the kitchen up in ways we didn't know was possible and offered ideas in the design that made our little kitchen more spacious then we thought possible. His help with coordinating color and patterns made this old kitchen in to something you might see in a magazine. We love it Thank you Dan! My Mother is a bit of a perfectionist and making her happy can be a task at times, but he accomplished it with a very professional attitude and skill. I have worked with other contractors before who can be tempermental with poor communication and disappearing for weeks at a time Not Dan he always kept me in the loop and was available for every concern. As for any improvement in hind sight the kitchen floor should have been covered the whole time because the plaster dust was somewhat difficult to scrub off the floor. And can I mention he did this while 2 small kids were Home on vacation and often in the way. His patients are to be admired as he always had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Ely Lira reupholstered an antique (approximately 80-90 years old) recliner/glider chair for us. the antique piece belonged to my husband's grandfather and was in such poor condition we were considering throwing it out. The cushions were completely torn, the wood was scratched, and the springs were broken to the point where when you sat on the chair, you practically sat all the way down to the floor! That's where Ely came in! Ely came to our apartment to give us a free estimate. He provided us with a selection of fabrics and also a recommendation of a fabric store in our location. He came back to pick up the chair as well as the fabric (3 trips to our apartment by this point). He completed the work in about 2 weeks and the personally delivered the chair back to us. WOW, what can I say but the chair looks OUTSTANDING! I could never imagine that it would look as good as it does. The fabric looks perfect, the springs are springy, and even the wood has been de-scuffed. We are SO happy with the work. I would definitely recommend Ely's work to anybody looking to get an antique piece of furniture reupholstered.

I had an usual project, an 8 ft piece of bowling alley that was to be turned into a table top. I needed Louie to cut the piece down to 7 ft, wrap the outside edge, sand, and refinish the top. I met Louie on a Saturday to drop off the piece and discussed the options. He was extremely knowledgeable about the materials and finishes for my piece. After spending only a few minutes with him I had total confidence in his ability to refinish my table top to my satisfaction. On Sunday he contacted me and sent a picture of the progress. The next day, Monday he informed me that the piece was ready. When I picked it up I was ecstatic. Louie exceeded my expectations. The finished product was awesome! I look forward to using Louie again for my next project.

Phil was wonderful to work with and such a huge help in assembling my large pieces of IKEA furniture. I was looking to book someone for a same-day job and was lucky enough to get him. His pricing is very reasonable and he does a terrific job. I would absolutely work with Phil again if I ever have any future assembly needs.

I gave Rafeal a decorative table, medium size. I asked if he could refinish and stain my wooden table. He did an amazing job and finished the table in the time frame he stated. While picking up my table I noticed a few kitchen cutting boards that he hand made. I purchased for my wife and she loved it. Holds up great and easy to clean.

Vick at Servi-All was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are thrilled with the results of all his hard work! We initially hired him just for some cabinet painting, but our project evolved, and we made some mid-way decisions, discoveries, and changes, but Vick took on everything in stride and was patient and professional. Vick is responsive to texts and was easy to get ahold of when needed. Above all else, the quality of all his work, and especially his cabinet painting (completely removed door fronts, applied several even spray coats to both sides, painted everything else in place) was top notch! We also had him install plank flooring, paint the walls and ceilings, apply a tile backsplash, tile the entryway floor, and handle some other odds and ends. We couldn't be happier with the results and would definitely recommend Servi-All to others seeking similar.

I have a wooden bed, with a headboard, footboard and sideboards. Two years ago when having people over 4 people wound up sitting on one side of the bed and it cracked. Specifically the bottom part with the crossbeams supporting the mattress broke off from the sideboard. and the sideboard itself cracked. I was able to repair it using additional wood, screws and some gorilla glue. I recently had a similar problem with a few people sitting on the same side and again it broke. This time it was a clean break--the sideboard is intact but the base with the crossbeams is again separated from the sideboard. I'd like to have a professional come in and fix it. Is this a service you can provide? Can someone provide a sense of what this might cost? I realize it's hard sight unseen but given that the bed cost about $650, if this is likely to cost $300-400 it may just be easier to get a new bed.
