FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are set prices as far as special occasion, bridal, and trial appointments go. I add an additional fee for long distance travel. If a client is asking for something particular or something that is a more extravagant look I reserve the right to adjust my prices accordingly. If a client cancels after their appointment is confirmed I do reserve the right to charge a 20% cancellation fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a consultation. This usually starts with general questions such as what type of look they're going for, what colors they want to use, etc. A reference picture is always nice to go off of and helps me get a better idea of what the client wants. I then continue to go more in depth and ask questions about their skin type and how they want their skin to look (dewy, satin, matte, ect), and build off of there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've always had a love for make up and am a self taught makeup artist. I also work at Sephora as a consultant and have gained more knowledge through that.
