We have had four sessions with Sandi and are so satisfied with the quality of the lessons. My 7-year old son counts down the days until he sees her again and leaves every lesson eager for the next. She has a calm demeanor, yet is straightforward and clear about her expectations. He has learned so much already and we are excited for all the learning and skill building he has ahead of him!Feb 1, 2018Verified
She is very very sweet but also knows how to teach well and give constructive criticism and can even make learning to read music fun (:Jan 22, 2018Verified
Sandi has a very special quality of making young people feel comfortable and right at home. She is an amazing musician and a wonderful person. She is worth every penny and more!Sep 21, 2017
I have always had a guitar in my house since I was a child...so, I have banged around on a guitar for many, many years...but, I never learned any music theory, or the right way to play the instrument. Sandy, is patient, structured albeit her own style of teaching developed from her experience. She gives clear instructions regarding her expectations and her approach is to let you develop your own style of playing while giving you the tools to play correctly.Sep 3, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?not complicated....$25 for 1/2 hr and $40 for an hr...I do however require a FULL 24 hr notice for a cancellation and I require a security deposit of 1 lesson...which when you decide to quit lessons...that security deposit money you gave me goes towards your last lesson...some people when they stop taking lessons, they just stop coming...they don't tell me....so this way if that happens...I am paid for that lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We sit and talk, and I make them feel at home...I see what they know and what they want to learn on the guitar...I evaluate their playing and I start showing them the different paths that they can learn. They pick and choose what they want to learn. I am here for them....they are not here for me...I want them to be the BEST Guitar player they want to be...some students do this as a hobby, some want to get in bands and some want to become music teachers...I am here for them...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I took lessons from different teachers....one of my guitar teachers asked me to teach for him as soon as I graduated high school.... I have been doing it ever since and I would never imagine me doing anything else....I absolutely love teaching guitar!!!
