My upstairs bathroom's shower plumbing had let go and soaked the downstairs. I had taken down the sheetrock and cut all the old piping out (copper and PVC) I had repiped the PVC myself, however, I had never worked with copper. I called Harry in to repipe the upstairs shower and install shut-off values and the shower mixing valve. While my old house gave him a good fight (tight spaces, hard to reach for soldering) He did a great job and everything is working perfectly. Will use again, We are already talking about the next project!
I am not good with drywall, in fact, I hate drywall...it's the bane of my existence. These guys were AMAZING - I needed drywall done in a bathroom remodel and these guys came to my house and were able to get the job done in less than 4 hours; they were able to cut, tape, mud and sand the walls in the bathroom and left the area clean and ready to paint. I would definetly hire these people again for the work that they did. Thanks a lot!
My remodeling project is still a work in progress. Brian is providing quality workmanship, has left the work area immaculate at the end of the day, and has kept me updated and involved every step of the way with our project by providing me pictures and prices of hardware, tiles, vanities etc. which is extremely helpful to me due to my work schedule and just not finding time to shop around! It is a pleasure working with a contractor who understands our budget, and is enthusiastic in accomplishing an updated, modern, and fresh look for this older bathroom. Thanks Brian!
Rome and his guys were great. We originally planned on only doing a couple things, and after seeing the quality of the work on stair repair and popcorn removal, we also had hardwood flooring installed, drywall replaced and tiling done. The work Johnny, Reuben, Jesus and the other guys did was beautiful and the prices Rome gave us were very reasonable. I would recommend him and his guys to anyone looking to get professional quality work done to their home.
Tile in my kitchen floor and backsplash look incredible. Anthony was at my house to do the work exactly when he said he was going to be. He kept me informed on the project and was available to answer any questions I had along the way. The work area was left clean at the end of each day. Highly recommend.
Carlos laid the new floor tile for our bathroom remodeling project. He understood the entire project - beyond just the tiling. He went the extra mile to provide his input on underlayment options and to undercut the door trim. He did a great job of matching the elevation of the hallway hardwood, which eliminated the need for a transom. I would hire him again.
I hired Allan to seal my basement and repoint my brick columns. I was pleased with Allan's work, he did exactly what he agreed to for a reasonable price. I would recommend and hire him again.
Sergio did a great job on our large tile floor. He was quick to respond, easy to work with, and the floor looks great.
We hired Geri to tile a bathroom floor. Geri was very conscientious in both the planning and execution of the job. Two old layers needed to be removed and he did everything to insure the new floor pwould be completely level. Very happy with the finished job.
Dan, and crew were great! Right on time with quote, showing up, their workmanship was wonderful. They tiled 2 bathrooms beautifully, cleaned and grouted a shower stall and painted bathroom cabinets. Could not have asked for nicer guys to work with. Always wanted to please and make everything perfect.
I hired the BNG to do the complete renovation of my house, and the result was great. on time, excellent work, great price, reliability and great price. recommend with my eyes closed, and another thing they helped me a lot, with very nice ideias recommend 100% If you are looking for: remodeling your kitchen, bathroom, tile work, painting, drywall ?call BNG, quality and responsibility
He did an excellent & professional job replacing tile in the kitchen, 2 entry ways & the downstairs bathroom. He has extremely reasonable rates & was willing to work around our schedules. He was willing to put in long hours to complete the project in a timely manner.
After several false starts with other friends and companies, Nick came to the rescue and did an excellent bathroom tiling job. He arrived when he said he would, cleaned up each day, and was an all around nice person to deal with - all that in addition to doing fabulous tile work on my tub surround. I give him my highest rating. Thanks!
Marc put in a new garage door opener in a fraction of the time it would have taken me, for $150. He came the day I called to check out the site, then came back two days later to do the job. He was quick, professional, pleasant, thorough, and also cleaned up a bunch of cruddy wiring and weak supports put in by the previous owner. We talked about his other work, and now he's coming back next week to tile my kitchen and bathroom - again, work I could perhaps do myself, but not close to his quality, and his price is so reasonable, it seems silly to risk doing these smallish jobs myself.
After owning our home for over 40 years we were finally ready to remodel the original 1956 master bathroom. We interviewed 4 other contractors before meeting with "For-U-Builders" who seemed to share our vision for transforming our obsolete bathroom into a masterpiece of timeless design combined with quality craftsmanship. Each member of their team, from the owner to the sub-contractors approached the job with professionalism and enthusiasm, along with the in-house coordinator who communicated almost daily with ordering & scheduling details, assuring that the project was well orchestrated from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the results and feel fortunate to have had this firm complete our dream bathroom on time and at a reasonable (middle of the range) cost. We will surely be using them again for our future projects.
I hired G&G remodeling to repair and complete another contractor’s poor quality tile work, paint two bathrooms, install new stair railings and Repair Sheetrock. Jimmy and his workers did an excellent job and were very professional. I would definitely use them for any future projects.
When I contacted Square Feet Contracting, my contractor of 8 years had just walked out on me leaving my old kitchen floor ripped and the sub-floor only partially redone. This was the weekend before Thanksgiving and the kitchen installers were coming to install the kitchen at the end of the week after. This means that we had about a week (Thanksgiving included) to finish preparing the sub-floor, tiling, and grouting before installing the kitchen cabinets and appliances. I contacted Square Feet Contracting over the weekend and Paolo was at my house on Monday morning. He saw the project, took his measurements, and gave me a quote and a contract on the spot. Being that he could get started on it pretty much immediately, I signed right away. Paolo came with his co-worker Roberto always on time and in good spirits. This was a complicated tiling job because of the amount of obstacles, corners, closets, laundry closet, and little nooks that required a lot of patience and tile cutting. On top of this, part of the kitchen was an addition done many years ago and the floor wasn't exactly level. Paolo suggested changing the pattern of the tile in that part of the kitchen and that turned out to be an excellent suggestion. Not only was the unleveled floor issue solved, but the change of pattern looked aesthetically beautiful. He also suggested that we use the same tile to add a baseboard (battiscopa, as Paolo would say in Italian), and that was another excellent idea. Our floor looks incredibly beautiful. I definitely deserve some credit for picking such a gorgeous tile (lol), but Paolo and his crew truly did an amazing job in a timely manner (not rushing, but never stopping) and for a reasonable price. Since then he has also done my foyer. There are just two steps that go from the foyer to the house and the way he blended the kitchen tile on the horizontal part of the steps and the foyer tile on the vertical part of the steps is really remarkable. Paolo takes pride on his work and that shines through in the final result. I have so much respect for that. Now I want him to do my back-splash (as soon as kitchen counter-tops are installed), and then we'll move onto the two bathrooms. I give Square Feet Contracting five big fat stars without hesitation and I strongly recommend them to everyone.
I have an 80's condo that needs a full remodel and wasn't sure where to start. Mark was recommended to me by a coworker. He came in, looked the place over, discussed my must haves and my wish list and gave me an estimate on the first project. Starting on the main level he removed a partition wall to open my kitchen. Then he removed the popcorn finish on my cathedral ceiling, refinished and painted it. I was very happy with the results so I had him continue with my list. I work a lot so I gave him a key. He comes and goes as he needs to and I have no worries. He installed my bamboo floors on a diagional because it's the design I wanted. When I couldn't get trim to match he took flooring to his shop and made custom transitions and thresholds. He installed a tile entry with more custom trim. He built an island where the wall had been to hold my new sink and dishwasher which included relocating the plumbing, electrical and all new outlets. He even made "countertops" out of cardboard so I could see exactly how it would all fit in the room and where to locate the faucet. Through all of this he has been easygoing and helpful with the many decisions I needed to make. He also had no problem with me doing what I can-painting and cabinets to keep costs down and working with the tradesmen I brought in to do code work. I have recommended him to friends and family one of whom thanked me for sending her "a guy who is so honest" when he told her it would be cheaper for her to replace a damaged ceiling than to have him patch it up. Next will be new floors, more popcorn removal, ceiling fixtures and new tile in the bathroom upstairs and Mark will be doing all of it. This is not my first reno but it is as easier than any of the others. I will post pictures shortly so you can see why I'm so happy.
Lisa and Brian did an excellent job tiling our hall bathroom. They made accurate measurements so that we could buy the materials we needed. They helped with design when we wanted to add accent tiles and give a finished look to a threshold on an existing closet. They gave helpful suggestions like adding a soap holder and a ceramic shelf without additional costs. Lisa and Brian worked so well together and they were very friendly, which made working with them easy and even enjoyable! The bathroom work was done quickly and beautifully! We are very satisfied with their work of art.
Frank did an awesome job remodeling our bathroom. Frank and his guys are real professionals! I would recommend him to anyone tha needs a great contractor!
Over the course of two months Chris remodeled a basement studio apartment for me. He gutted the existing bathroom, nstalled vinyl flooring, did a new bathroom, built shelves, painted, did plumbing and electric work, installed a small kitchen and did a number of other odd jobs on the property. Chris is a master craftsmen who is a perfectionist with his work. His prices are reasonable and he is 100 percent honest and trustworthy. I even gave him a blank check once for materials. I am using my unit as an airbnb apartment and guests regularly comment on the craftsmanship of the apartment and specifically the bathroom. I really can't say enough good things about Chris. I plan on using him for all my work from here on out. I will let the photos speak for themselves.
