Harry managed to work out a sink installation project that flummoxed several professional plumbers who charged much more. Impressed!
Mr. Vasquez did a superb job for me. His work was quality, timely and competitively priced. I was so pleased that I have hired him for other projects -- carpentry, painting and general repair
Thiago is very professional, hardworking, detailed, patient, and agreeable. He did a fabulous job on our exterior painting for the house, and on top of that, he has offered many valuable suggestions on the carpenter work and ideas about detailing. With the very reasonable price he asks, it is a no-brainer that you can't find anyone better. Good luck to your business, Thiago!
Came and did the job for a decent price. Then came back and gave us an even more decent estimate on some home improvement fixes we want. It is so helpful that they aren't just plumbers! Would highly recommend!
compltete kitchen renovation , Dan provided cabinet assembly , and installion , custom cabnitiey features and all trim work , worked well with other trades , offered alternatives and advise , but most importantly gave my wife great advice on the finishing touchs . he was alwys on time , cleaned up at the end of the day , and provided quality cost effective work and end results
We hired Bruce to remodel and update our bathroom, kitchen and to install washer and dryer hook ups in our 1920 Colonial. The project included new electrical, new drywall, building custom cabinets and doors as well as installing new plumbing. Bruce did not disappoint and the work was excellent and exceeded our expectations. It passed inspection with no problem and we are happy that our historical house now has modern ameneties such as a dishwasher, ceiling fan, and light timers. Bruce communicated with us every step of the way and always made sure to clean the work area (since we had to live in the house during the remodel). I would highly recommend Bruce again.
JCEC contractors (http://www.jcecpainting.com/about.html) and painting company do more than just paint a room they actually transform a room. My wife has been watching all of the DIY shows on television and came up with an idea on changes she wanted to make to the kitchen. From her idea to completion, the transformation was amazing. We did not have to contract out to many different sub-contractors the team at JCEC did it all including electrical, tile work, woodwork and yes painting. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone who can do it all and at a good price.
What a great experience. I had to have my gutters cleaned and received a quote within 10 mins and he was there the next day to complete the work. Very happy with the outcome!
We hired Mike to build a wall in our basement. The job was tricky because the basement has long hanging pipes. Mike was great- he navigated the pipes and gave us exactly what we wanted. His quote was fair and his work was excellent. He built the wall, did the drywall, and painted. He even added finishing touches that made the wall look great. Through every step of the process Mike was in communication with us. He's easy to work with, safe, and reliable. We hired him for additional jobs (waterproofing the basement, etc.) all of which came out great! I will be hiring him for all our jobs around the house going forward. He's a true professional and his craftsmanship is high quality too.
I had an outside hot water heater where the old door just completely fell apart and off the hinges completely. We couldn't afford to buy a custom door right now and so Bob did an amazing "MacGuyver" job and found out a way to fix up and rehang the door using the existing one-and it looks great. We also had a heavy gate that was off its hinges and he knew just what to do to get it back on track. While he was here he even tightened up the other matching gate (even without me asking-very nice). We also had a large front door hanging lantern that my husband could not get to work but Bob figured that out too. And on top of that he was extremely nice, went out of his way to make sure I was happy, and his charges were more than fair. I would definitely recommend him for so many things around the house--will for sure hire him again!
Sergio was great to work with and did a very nice job on our custom shower. I highly recommend him for any tile work needed.
Demo/Tiled bathroom floor and shower. Built custom pan. Andrew did an amazing job. Very custom work. He was dedicated to my satisfaction with the job. He worked around my schedule and was very professional. He went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The job came out far better than I expected at exactly the price he quoted. Andrew is an amazing guy and does GREAT work at Great prices. I couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you andrew.
Mark did my kitchen remodel which included new cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, and tile flooring. We gave Mark a must have start and end date and he finished early. He worked in a clean, safe, and professional manner. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a skilled carpenter in all phases of home improvement.
Frank was our Mantel MVP. He cut and stained the ends of an old barn beam we found and installed it over our fireplace for an awesome rustic chic look AND he brought a 1940s mantel back to life along with custom installation in our other living room. Both finished products brought a tear to my eye. Don’t hesitate to hire Frank for your next project because he is incredibly friendly and he clearly has the knowledge and work ethic to get the job done. Thanks Frank!
Nathan was wonderful working with my aging mother in law who needs to use her steps daily. She knew what she wanted and Nathan made sure she was satisfied! She is not easy to please and Changes her mind often. That didn't phase Nathan and he made changes until she was completely happy! The railings are perfect and will offer her safe trips in and out if her home. I highly recommend Fortin and Miller Construction.
We had the pleasure of working with Mark Troiano from CJT Development to build our custom new house. He is everything you would want in your contractor. He made great suggestions and helped keep us stay within our budget. When we met with him to go over out blueprints he came back with ways we could save money and not lose the integrity of our dream home. He did an amazing job sticking to the time table that we discussed previous to starting our build. Mark does an amazing job of explaining the process of everything and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the entire project. He was always available to answer our questions whether it be in person, on the phone, text or email. Mark was always willing to help out where ever it was needed. He is hard working and honest and works with quality subcontractors. Our house came out beautiful and the quality is amazing. I would highly recommend Mark to do any project, and would hire him again in the Here is a link to our home on Houzz http://www.houzz.com/projects/1482269
Edgael built patios and retaining walls for me, as well as bringing in some dirt and spreading it for me. He is a very talented stone mason. He was honest, timely and did what he said he would do. Even a little more.
I've spent countless hours reading customer reviews, canvassing contractor's website, viewing multiple social media platforms in search of a carpenter that meets my criteria which is honest, skilled/knowledgeable, trustworthy, clean and considerate. Basically I was looking for a professional who would listen to what I wanted and then do it. I have found this request extremely difficult to achieve. Ergo, I will try to further describe my expectations and ultimately the carpenter I found, Frank Altieri of Altieri Construction who not only meet my criteria but also exceeded my wildest dreams by transforming my space into the beautiful, relaxing, serene room it was meant to be. A carpenter who would treat (e.g., not track mud throughout my house, unnecessary dirty hands on walls, using a drop cloth to place tools on instead of my hardwood floor) my home/items in it with respect. Frank placed drop clothes- CLEAN drop clothes throughout my house. He used plastic to cover areas a drop cloth couldn't be used. One rainy day his crew needed to come in & out of my house multiple times, walking through a muddy patch each time. His crew took the time to take on & off booties (cloth cover wraps) so that my floors would not get destroyed. These are the little things to me that make all the difference in the world. A carpenter who was as considerate of my time as they are of their own. Now having said that, I am very familiar with the day to day scheduling difficulties a tradesmans encounters due to the inability to predict the length of time each job may be. I understand the many variables (e.g., having to leave a job to get a part, delays at stores when buying materials, having to load & unload materials, setting up & breaking down jobs, travel time, traffic, discussion with customers that take longer then expected, having to get fuel, pulling off road to take a call, etc.) a tradesman must deal with. Although I understand these challenges, the tradesman I hire must be one that is considerate enough to call/text if the time needs to be changed. The office staff with Altieri Construction did contact me prior to my schedule job start date to inform me of a conflict and that we would need to reschedule. My job ended up being delayed for almost 2 weeks because of commitments on both of our ends. I have to admit I did understand but of course I was disappointed. I wanted my job done yesterday I was ready to go why wasn't he? Then I realized the world does not revolve around me and although I was hiring Altieri Construction I did not own them. So I waited and once the wait was over well... I WAS TICKLED PINK, ON TOP OF THE WORLD, OVER THE MOON, HAPPY AS A CLAM, ON CLOUD NINE IN SEVENTH HEAVEN. The job Altieri Construction did left me speechless! It was amazing and exactly what I asked for! Mr. Altieri prior to the start of my job explained in detail the steps/process involved, I must admit I can not recall these details but that is why he is the expert, the skilled & knowledgeable tradesman and I am not. I am the customer, the more than satisfied customer who can honestly say, Every cent I spent was worth it and that is a gratifying feeling! Frank Altieri, the owner of Altieri Construction was honest, he did exactly what he said he would which was exactly what I asked. They were trustworthy, clean and considerate. The areas of my house they were not working on were left just the same as the day before they arrived. Anyone searching for a carpenter/handyman? I strongly recommend: Frank Altieri, owner of Altieri Construction of Trumbull, CT www.altiericonstruction.com Phone: 203-449-4581 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We don't typically write reviews but we just couldn't have asked for more from Chris Kehoe. We had two projects, a custom kitchen counter/cabinet and a tricky stairwell. Both required creativity but needed to fit the style of the home. Chris delivered excellent work, was warm and easy to work with and was very fair in his pricing. This is your guy!
Brett is highly skilled. He makes beautiful furniture and other custom projects. I highly recommend him!
We have used Dakota Builders for multiple sized framing and trim jobs for the past 25 years. They have always delivered top quality work and are always willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Great people, great craftsman!
