Harry worked on replacing our kitchen faucet as it had been leaking for some time and replaced a very old toilet that did not flush very well with a brand new toilet that works perfectly. He made sure that no matter what the job was done all in the same day which we were very grateful and pleased with. We will absolutely use him for any future jobs needed big or small!
Jorge and his team did an amazing job of our house (Drywall Installation, hallway and bathroom install marble tile and kitchen cabinet etc). They are incredible, meticulous, punctual, very nice to work with and do a wonderful job. They clean up at the end of every day you would never know they were there. I HIGHLY recommend their work. Jorge's team is by far the best. He is also extremely reasonable. Additionally, he insisted we call if we find ANYTHING we are unhappy with so he can take care of it immediately. So I wouldnt hesitate to call him again.
Brian (the owner) contacted me and B & G came over at a moment's notice on a Sunday to fix my sink. Whoever had installed the under mount sink in my kitchen hadn't done a great job, and it had fallen out of the counter. B & G knocked the job out in less than an hour and fortified that sink. The cost was very reasonable. That sink isn't going anywhere now. Thanks guys!
Rome was exceptionally reasonable with his pricing compared to other quotes we received, and he started at our soonest convenience. His talented crew were a pleasure to have in our home as they tackled several projects we were working on. We had Rome renovate our kitchen, wallpaper and paint our dining room, paint and renovate cabinets in our billiard room, and paint several other rooms in our home, they replaced several wood planks on our pergola and on the deck and steps that were unsafe and his wood worker went above and beyond with his amazing skills to go the extra mile with several things on the deck that needed changing or that that needed a face lift. They power washed our home and made it look new and replaced several odds and ends that had just been needing a new look. He was always willing to work around our busy schedules and eager to please. He is a very kind, pleasant presence which we appreciated as we were working with him and his crew for several weeks. They were always on time and clear about what they were doing and what they needed in order for us to prepare for different projects. We had our kitchen counters removed and a family member was going to be inheriting them, and he was even kind enough to take his time and his crews time to help transport them to the new owners vehicle which was greatly appreciated and much needed. I would go on and on about how Rome and his crew were a pleasure to work with but i dont want to fail to mention what a wonderful person he actually is and how he truly cares if you are happy with the outcome of things and the progress as well. Rome is a one of a kind find when it comes to anything having to do with your home and he will respect your home and things in it more then i have ever witnessed with any other company. He is a great man of his word and was a great find on this sight!!! We will always call Rome in the furure for anything relating to home improvement. If youre lucky enough to find him youre lucky enough!! Hopefully Rome gets to see this review so he knows how very thankful we are that we found him and were blessed enough to have him make our home everything we wanted and more!! Rome and his professional, caring crew are one of a kind, skilled and professional!!!!

We just hired Custom Woodwork ETC to create additional kitchen cabinets for our existing 1950s kitchen. He is going to match the cabinet style and allow my grandmother's kitchen to grow in size but keep the original feel. We are so excited we found Bruce Ring on Thumbtack to do the work!

After owning our home for over 40 years we were finally ready to remodel the original 1956 master bathroom. We interviewed 4 other contractors before meeting with "For-U-Builders" who seemed to share our vision for transforming our obsolete bathroom into a masterpiece of timeless design combined with quality craftsmanship. Each member of their team, from the owner to the sub-contractors approached the job with professionalism and enthusiasm, along with the in-house coordinator who communicated almost daily with ordering & scheduling details, assuring that the project was well orchestrated from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the results and feel fortunate to have had this firm complete our dream bathroom on time and at a reasonable (middle of the range) cost. We will surely be using them again for our future projects.
Had a kitchen ceiling put up. Came out better than expected.
When I contacted Square Feet Contracting, my contractor of 8 years had just walked out on me leaving my old kitchen floor ripped and the sub-floor only partially redone. This was the weekend before Thanksgiving and the kitchen installers were coming to install the kitchen at the end of the week after. This means that we had about a week (Thanksgiving included) to finish preparing the sub-floor, tiling, and grouting before installing the kitchen cabinets and appliances. I contacted Square Feet Contracting over the weekend and Paolo was at my house on Monday morning. He saw the project, took his measurements, and gave me a quote and a contract on the spot. Being that he could get started on it pretty much immediately, I signed right away. Paolo came with his co-worker Roberto always on time and in good spirits. This was a complicated tiling job because of the amount of obstacles, corners, closets, laundry closet, and little nooks that required a lot of patience and tile cutting. On top of this, part of the kitchen was an addition done many years ago and the floor wasn't exactly level. Paolo suggested changing the pattern of the tile in that part of the kitchen and that turned out to be an excellent suggestion. Not only was the unleveled floor issue solved, but the change of pattern looked aesthetically beautiful. He also suggested that we use the same tile to add a baseboard (battiscopa, as Paolo would say in Italian), and that was another excellent idea. Our floor looks incredibly beautiful. I definitely deserve some credit for picking such a gorgeous tile (lol), but Paolo and his crew truly did an amazing job in a timely manner (not rushing, but never stopping) and for a reasonable price. Since then he has also done my foyer. There are just two steps that go from the foyer to the house and the way he blended the kitchen tile on the horizontal part of the steps and the foyer tile on the vertical part of the steps is really remarkable. Paolo takes pride on his work and that shines through in the final result. I have so much respect for that. Now I want him to do my back-splash (as soon as kitchen counter-tops are installed), and then we'll move onto the two bathrooms. I give Square Feet Contracting five big fat stars without hesitation and I strongly recommend them to everyone.
I have an 80's condo that needs a full remodel and wasn't sure where to start. Mark was recommended to me by a coworker. He came in, looked the place over, discussed my must haves and my wish list and gave me an estimate on the first project. Starting on the main level he removed a partition wall to open my kitchen. Then he removed the popcorn finish on my cathedral ceiling, refinished and painted it. I was very happy with the results so I had him continue with my list. I work a lot so I gave him a key. He comes and goes as he needs to and I have no worries. He installed my bamboo floors on a diagional because it's the design I wanted. When I couldn't get trim to match he took flooring to his shop and made custom transitions and thresholds. He installed a tile entry with more custom trim. He built an island where the wall had been to hold my new sink and dishwasher which included relocating the plumbing, electrical and all new outlets. He even made "countertops" out of cardboard so I could see exactly how it would all fit in the room and where to locate the faucet. Through all of this he has been easygoing and helpful with the many decisions I needed to make. He also had no problem with me doing what I can-painting and cabinets to keep costs down and working with the tradesmen I brought in to do code work. I have recommended him to friends and family one of whom thanked me for sending her "a guy who is so honest" when he told her it would be cheaper for her to replace a damaged ceiling than to have him patch it up. Next will be new floors, more popcorn removal, ceiling fixtures and new tile in the bathroom upstairs and Mark will be doing all of it. This is not my first reno but it is as easier than any of the others. I will post pictures shortly so you can see why I'm so happy.
We don't typically write reviews but we just couldn't have asked for more from Chris Kehoe. We had two projects, a custom kitchen counter/cabinet and a tricky stairwell. Both required creativity but needed to fit the style of the home. Chris delivered excellent work, was warm and easy to work with and was very fair in his pricing. This is your guy!
Brett is highly skilled. He makes beautiful furniture and other custom projects. I highly recommend him!
I would gladly recommend Jon's work! Bel Air remodeled my kitchen and master bath, and the work is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier. Bel Air was also the most reasonably priced contractor I found after searching and interviewing several and taking many quotes. The most important piece to me is that Jon warrantees his work and replaced a faulty light switch for free when I called. That's peace of mind.
Jerry Davis and his crew installed a tile floor in my kitchen for me in Glastonbury Ct. They set the tile on a 45 degree angle which came out beautiful. Everything was completed in the span of a few days as promised. My house was left clean. It was truly a pleasure to have them work for me. I would recommend their services to anyone and plan on using them for future projects.
I am extremely pleased with Jonathan Gordon's work on my home. He came prepared, understood my concerns and preferences, made valuable and creative suggestions, all in keeping with the way I view my space. I looking forward to continuing to work with him.
Kevin and Steve delivered on everything we agreed upon - and within the agreed upon timeframes. The quality of workmanship is excellent - we love our new bathroom
