Was exactly what we needed.
I've watched Vicki and Kim teach swimming for many years with all different age groups and levels, including adults with special needs. They make learning fun; reassuring those who have a fear of the water. They are professional and personable. Most kids get excited when they see their instructors coming. I've watched non-swimmers engaged and transformed into confident swimmers who enjoy the sport, safely, within a season. Toddlers learn to dive in 2-4 feet of water using play technique. Having said that however, scheduling can be challenging with cancellations, weather variables and family plan changes. Overall, though, they manage to accommodate most everyone.
Our company was founded on the idea that as a community and as private individual citizen, there is no place to turn to gain the skills and information that we need to protect our family, ourselves, and our properties. Prepare To Act was founded by a fifteen-year police veteran and offers courses from EMT and CPR to pistol permit courses. We also offer original programs in anti-bullying, kid confidence, don't be a victim seminars for adults, as well as home invasion/burglary prevention. We conduct in-home safety inspections and so much more. We also offer fingerprints for background checks, as well as background investigations and now private investigation work. We offer training in all aspects of concern in the ridiculously crazy world we're living in together. This is real-life training that is specific to each customer, and a lot of our focus is on scenario-based situations that are not sugar coated. Our guarantee is that you will leave our trainings with specific skills and the confidence to use them that could save the life of the person that you love the most!

I have been providing CPR/AED and first aid training for over 15 years in the Fairfield County, CT area. I am Red Cross and American Heart Association certified. I also teach the American Red Cross babysitter's training course for 11- to 15-year-old children.
My job is to ensure that I educate others properly because if not.. It could cost someone else their life. I make sure that my students are confident and well versed in the course material. It is not an easy breeze through class. We will go in depth with the class material and do a lot of practical skills practice.
I joined American Heart Association and gained CPR and first-aid training. I joined National Rifle Association and experienced pistol, rifle, and shotgun training. I am a retired US Army senior instructor.
