Very kind and has an awesome godly personality. I would recommend him to anyone. Loved that he offers marriage counseling services as well.
My wife insisted we go to counseling since we were fighting all the time. I was skeptical, but Alison made me feel comfortable. She didn't take sides or make me "the bad guy." She taught us how to speak to each other so that we wouldn't keep going in circles and getting madder. She helped us both see our part in the problems and gave us ways to make things better. We're better parents now as well, not only because the kids don't have to see us fighting, but because we're calmer and have better strategies for dealing with conflict. I'm so glad we went. My wife and I haven't been this happy since we were first married.
Marriage counseling; very accommodating, felt very comfortable with her and she gave wonderful advice.
We set goals together. We prayed together. She made suggestions depending on what I wanted to do. She helped me get a complex task organized. She neither let things slide that I wanted to to, nor pushed me to do what she thought was a good idea. A very well balanced and spiritual counseling experience.
Very compassionate and helpful
Monique West helped me get through some of the most difficult and darkest times of my life. She got me through the loss of my parents and some other serious issues. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and really smart. I give the highest recommendation possible!
Pastor Christine provided marriage counseling and the right tools to communicate with my spouse and conflict resolution. We worked on how I can be understanding more of my spouse feelings and expectations. I have recommended her to friends of mine who are going through counseling now.
I was recommended to Stephanie O'Sullivan for an irrational fear of dogs I have....had. Stephanie worked with me over a few long months to introduce me to some dogs that at previous times, would have scared me to the point of tears. But her patience and reassurance helped put me at ease. Now when I walk I don't break down if there is a dog around me. I even met her Rottweiler and with assistance, was able to touch and even play with him.
Dr. Cofrin, is warm, sincere, intuitive & very knowledgeable in her field. After leaving our first session with her we felt good, so we know better things await us.
The therapy I practice looks at your situation from a systemic view, meaning we look at all the influencing factors to the concerns you bring to our sessions. We as humans do not live in a vacuum, and that should be considered in therapy. Family, friends, past relationships, and so much more play an integral part of who we are. I make sure the work we do is solely focused on these factors in order to help you obtain your desired goals.
I really appreciate all the help Walesca has provided my family. When I lost my mother in 2013, my then 6 year old, took the loss pretty bad. I was so lucky to come across the bereavement services offered by Walesca. Through group therapy, my son was able to talk about his loss and share with other children experiencing the same. I also decided to join a bereavement support group for adults moderated by Walesca. I learned how to cope and understand my grief in a supportive environment. At the same time, I also learned how to be supportive to my son. I highly recommend Walesca and her amazing services.
I sought treatment a few years ago because I am diabetic. Yet, even though I knew I was hurting myself by eating candy, I still did nearly everyday. After just 2 sessions I could walk by the vending machine at work and not care about those chocolate bars that used to call my name. Some weight has come off and I'm still eating in a way that is healthy for me and keeps my blood sugar in a good range. I would highly recommend this practice!
