Mike was so easy to work with. Answered all my questions promptly and gave me different options for CPR training. I would definitely recommend him!
Attending Ms. Stewart class was amazing. This was the first class I attended that I actually learned something. Other CPR classes that I have attended to I fall asleep due to just watching video and reading powerpoints. What I love about Ms. Stewart class that no question was a stupid question she made sure that we all was on the same page, she made the class exciting by playing/having us mnemonics on how many compression and breathe from child to an adult. Also Ms.Stewart is very professional which I found as a bonus. I would recommend anyone to attend her class I will be back once my CPR certification has expire. Also her price is unbelievable compared to other agency .
I have taken many CPR classes over the years, but this was the best one yet Mathew made it easy to review, not confusing at all. It was very Infornative and I got the most out of this class than all the others I have taken in the past. I hope to have Mathew back in 2 years when this one expires Really good class.
Professional and very knowledgeable. Always available and reliable. Great instructor.

My job is to ensure that I educate others properly because if not.. It could cost someone else their life. I make sure that my students are confident and well versed in the course material. It is not an easy breeze through class. We will go in depth with the class material and do a lot of practical skills practice.
I'm an excellent teacher & am comfortable working with seasoned professionals or those with no CPR/First Aid training. I take the time to ensure each student can master the skills they are taught.

Would you know what to do if the person next to you suddenly collapsed? Each year, approximately 424,000 people in the U.S. experience nontraumatic sudden cardiac arrest. That is approximately 1,000 people a day. This is roughly equivalent to the number of people who die from Alzheimers disease, assault with firearms, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, diabetes, HIV, house fires, motor vehicle accidents, prostate cancer and suicides combined. In fact, the incidence of sudden cardiac death is nearly 10 times higher than the incidence of death from breast cancer. Whether or not the victim survives depends largely upon the immediate intervention of bystanders. Every minute that the victim does not receive CPR, his/her chance of survival decreases by approximately 10 percent. After 4 minutes without CPR, irreversible brain damage is almost guaranteed. Unfortunately, less than a third of victims of sudden cardiac arrest receives CPR from a bystander. The number of victims treated with an AED by a bystander is even less. Bystanders who did not provide assistance reported that were unsure of what to do. Here at Eastern Long Island First Aid, we're looking to change that! Eastern Long Island First Aid offers comprehensive solutions for all of your CPR and first aid needs. We specialize in CPR training, first aid training, AED sales, and AED management.
