Piano Tunings: Currently tuning and repairing pianos in Connecticut and other areas having served 500+ clients across Colorado and Nevada. I will take the time to make sure your instrument is in the best playing shape possible and address any minor repairs during tuning.
Be aware that these fees may be included in addition to the base rate:
1) Mileage for tunings requiring more than 15 miles travel
2) Pitch raise for pianos that haven't been tuned in 2+ years, this adds time to tuning but ensures the greatest tuning stability going forward
3) Major repairs/parts replacements, will be recommended during or after tuning
Piano Lessons: Currently accepting students of all ages of intermediate ability and above. Students will participate in festivals, competitions, and recitals if desired. Active member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).
Education:
Doctorate of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, University of Colorado
Master of Music in Piano Performance, University of Nevada Reno
Bachelor of Arts, Harvard University

Bryan is absolutely phenomenal. I picked up a dingy piano from facebook marketplace and he had it sounding brand new! He is extremely knowledgeable, he works at a good pace and you can trust him 100%! Not to mention he probably has the best prices around! He is absolutely the only person that i’m going to use going forward and would HIGHLY recommend him.

Bryon was responsive, on time, got right to work, and more. My piano sounds wonderful and he had me look it over and explained all he did before he left. I will use his service again.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts available for repeat tuning clients.
Common additional fees:
1) Mileage for tunings outside of Reno/Sparks/North Valleys
2) Pitch adjustment for pianos that haven't been tuned in 5+ years
3) Major repairs/parts replacements
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For teaching piano I hold a preliminary lesson with students to evaluate their skills and to set them up for material for study and practice. Beginners are more than welcome, and diligence and dedication is expected for all levels.
For piano tunings/repairs, I will give an overview of how I will tune the piano because often the piano will need two passes, and I try to catch any small repairs necessary as I tune.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Doctorate of Musical Arts at University of Colorado Boulder
MM Piano Performance -- University of Nevada Reno
BA Music -- Harvard University
Associate Member of Piano Technicians Guild
