Hi, my name is Lisa Carter and I am a Cher Tribute Artist/ Celebrity Impersonator. I have been in the tribute industry since 2009 and have worked diligently perfecting my craft to make this into my full time career. I have hired professional sound and light engineers, DJ's, dancers, musicians...the list goes on and on. Depending on what type of venue I am hired for, I am available with a live band or tracks for my gigs. Over the years I have hired less than competent dj's, until I feel upon Chris Hamel and his production company. He is my first choice, "go-to" guy who provides me with above standards in sound, lights, sound equipment....you name it, he's got it! He is also a musician, singer/ guitar player..so he "gets it"...in every sense of the phrase. I am passionate about my work, my shows, my costumes, my sound...and when he's running the soundboard, I know my show will excel to its highest potential. I feel extremely blessed to have him on my production team...in addition to that...he is always early for set-up, soundcheck,organized, and understands the mechanics of a tribute artist singing live and delivering only the best!! kudos to Chris Hamel for his professionalism and attention to details. Kristin is a fantastic teacher! She is very devoted to her students, and was the first teacher to help me transition from classical singing to musical theater. I always use the way she taught me to warm up through my resonances...it is efficient and fool proof! Kristin is a treasure in an industry that can be a challenging milieu for young singers!
Tim was our DJ at our wedding back in September. I can't say enough good things about him. He was personable, funny, and very professional. We felt like we had known him forever! He always answered emails in a timely fashion, got any song we had requested for the wedding and even met us at the venue because he had not been there before. I highly recommend him for any event, a lot of fun!!

My husband and I were guests at a wedding for my friend's daughter and we thought Emotion was fabulous! They had energy, the lead female singer's voice was so true to the original artist's and the band was great! The music selection was also spectacular and I know they assisted with it. I'd see them again any day!
Rorie was amazing from the get-go!! She was so easy to reach whenever I needed her and was so helpful through our whole process. I appreciated all of her help and made it exciting for me to choose the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I was never worried once that she wouldn't show up (one of my biggest fears with all vendors), and I was never worried she wouldn't do the music exactly to my liking. I'm so beyond grateful and ecstatic I went with her! Thank you Rorie for everything, you are amazing with a beautiful voice.. even the flower girl had to stop in the middle of the isle to watch you :)

Lyghtin Up and their catalog of classic rock songs are unmatched by any tribute band out there. The singer had me believing I was listening to the actual band! Would hire again and definitely recommend for your musical gatherings.

I hired the New London Big Band for my weekly live Jazz event in Hartford, CT. Not only were they very professional, they played an excellent show.
