Harry worked on replacing our kitchen faucet as it had been leaking for some time and replaced a very old toilet that did not flush very well with a brand new toilet that works perfectly. He made sure that no matter what the job was done all in the same day which we were very grateful and pleased with. We will absolutely use him for any future jobs needed big or small!

Brian (the owner) contacted me and B & G came over at a moment's notice on a Sunday to fix my sink. Whoever had installed the under mount sink in my kitchen hadn't done a great job, and it had fallen out of the counter. B & G knocked the job out in less than an hour and fortified that sink. The cost was very reasonable. That sink isn't going anywhere now. Thanks guys!

Dan was hired to assemble and install IKEA cabinets in the kitchen. He did an impressive job they look beautiful. It was part of remodeling of our kitchen and as a contractor he scheduled his time around and with both the electrician and plumber. It soon became apparent that his skills on other parts of the renovation was invaluable. He opened the kitchen up in ways we didn't know was possible and offered ideas in the design that made our little kitchen more spacious then we thought possible. His help with coordinating color and patterns made this old kitchen in to something you might see in a magazine. We love it Thank you Dan! My Mother is a bit of a perfectionist and making her happy can be a task at times, but he accomplished it with a very professional attitude and skill. I have worked with other contractors before who can be tempermental with poor communication and disappearing for weeks at a time Not Dan he always kept me in the loop and was available for every concern. As for any improvement in hind sight the kitchen floor should have been covered the whole time because the plaster dust was somewhat difficult to scrub off the floor. And can I mention he did this while 2 small kids were Home on vacation and often in the way. His patients are to be admired as he always had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Rome was exceptionally reasonable with his pricing compared to other quotes we received, and he started at our soonest convenience. His talented crew were a pleasure to have in our home as they tackled several projects we were working on. We had Rome renovate our kitchen, wallpaper and paint our dining room, paint and renovate cabinets in our billiard room, and paint several other rooms in our home, they replaced several wood planks on our pergola and on the deck and steps that were unsafe and his wood worker went above and beyond with his amazing skills to go the extra mile with several things on the deck that needed changing or that that needed a face lift. They power washed our home and made it look new and replaced several odds and ends that had just been needing a new look. He was always willing to work around our busy schedules and eager to please. He is a very kind, pleasant presence which we appreciated as we were working with him and his crew for several weeks. They were always on time and clear about what they were doing and what they needed in order for us to prepare for different projects. We had our kitchen counters removed and a family member was going to be inheriting them, and he was even kind enough to take his time and his crews time to help transport them to the new owners vehicle which was greatly appreciated and much needed. I would go on and on about how Rome and his crew were a pleasure to work with but i dont want to fail to mention what a wonderful person he actually is and how he truly cares if you are happy with the outcome of things and the progress as well. Rome is a one of a kind find when it comes to anything having to do with your home and he will respect your home and things in it more then i have ever witnessed with any other company. He is a great man of his word and was a great find on this sight!!! We will always call Rome in the furure for anything relating to home improvement. If youre lucky enough to find him youre lucky enough!! Hopefully Rome gets to see this review so he knows how very thankful we are that we found him and were blessed enough to have him make our home everything we wanted and more!! Rome and his professional, caring crew are one of a kind, skilled and professional!!!!

We just hired Custom Woodwork ETC to create additional kitchen cabinets for our existing 1950s kitchen. He is going to match the cabinet style and allow my grandmother's kitchen to grow in size but keep the original feel. We are so excited we found Bruce Ring on Thumbtack to do the work!

JCEC contractors (http://www.jcecpainting.com/about.html) and painting company do more than just paint a room they actually transform a room. My wife has been watching all of the DIY shows on television and came up with an idea on changes she wanted to make to the kitchen. From her idea to completion, the transformation was amazing. We did not have to contract out to many different sub-contractors the team at JCEC did it all including electrical, tile work, woodwork and yes painting. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone who can do it all and at a good price.

Alby is a young entrepreneur with a strong desire to leave a customer happy. The quality of work is impeccable. Landscaping projects can evolve during the process and Alby was able to adapt to the changing requests from my wife and I. He is not your typical 'contractor' in that he will work with you to develop the best possible end product.

Marc put in a new garage door opener in a fraction of the time it would have taken me, for $150. He came the day I called to check out the site, then came back two days later to do the job. He was quick, professional, pleasant, thorough, and also cleaned up a bunch of cruddy wiring and weak supports put in by the previous owner. We talked about his other work, and now he's coming back next week to tile my kitchen and bathroom - again, work I could perhaps do myself, but not close to his quality, and his price is so reasonable, it seems silly to risk doing these smallish jobs myself.

After owning our home for over 40 years we were finally ready to remodel the original 1956 master bathroom. We interviewed 4 other contractors before meeting with "For-U-Builders" who seemed to share our vision for transforming our obsolete bathroom into a masterpiece of timeless design combined with quality craftsmanship. Each member of their team, from the owner to the sub-contractors approached the job with professionalism and enthusiasm, along with the in-house coordinator who communicated almost daily with ordering & scheduling details, assuring that the project was well orchestrated from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the results and feel fortunate to have had this firm complete our dream bathroom on time and at a reasonable (middle of the range) cost. We will surely be using them again for our future projects.

When I contacted Square Feet Contracting, my contractor of 8 years had just walked out on me leaving my old kitchen floor ripped and the sub-floor only partially redone. This was the weekend before Thanksgiving and the kitchen installers were coming to install the kitchen at the end of the week after. This means that we had about a week (Thanksgiving included) to finish preparing the sub-floor, tiling, and grouting before installing the kitchen cabinets and appliances. I contacted Square Feet Contracting over the weekend and Paolo was at my house on Monday morning. He saw the project, took his measurements, and gave me a quote and a contract on the spot. Being that he could get started on it pretty much immediately, I signed right away. Paolo came with his co-worker Roberto always on time and in good spirits. This was a complicated tiling job because of the amount of obstacles, corners, closets, laundry closet, and little nooks that required a lot of patience and tile cutting. On top of this, part of the kitchen was an addition done many years ago and the floor wasn't exactly level. Paolo suggested changing the pattern of the tile in that part of the kitchen and that turned out to be an excellent suggestion. Not only was the unleveled floor issue solved, but the change of pattern looked aesthetically beautiful. He also suggested that we use the same tile to add a baseboard (battiscopa, as Paolo would say in Italian), and that was another excellent idea. Our floor looks incredibly beautiful. I definitely deserve some credit for picking such a gorgeous tile (lol), but Paolo and his crew truly did an amazing job in a timely manner (not rushing, but never stopping) and for a reasonable price. Since then he has also done my foyer. There are just two steps that go from the foyer to the house and the way he blended the kitchen tile on the horizontal part of the steps and the foyer tile on the vertical part of the steps is really remarkable. Paolo takes pride on his work and that shines through in the final result. I have so much respect for that. Now I want him to do my back-splash (as soon as kitchen counter-tops are installed), and then we'll move onto the two bathrooms. I give Square Feet Contracting five big fat stars without hesitation and I strongly recommend them to everyone.

We had the pleasure of working with Mark Troiano from CJT Development to build our custom new house. He is everything you would want in your contractor. He made great suggestions and helped keep us stay within our budget. When we met with him to go over out blueprints he came back with ways we could save money and not lose the integrity of our dream home. He did an amazing job sticking to the time table that we discussed previous to starting our build. Mark does an amazing job of explaining the process of everything and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the entire project. He was always available to answer our questions whether it be in person, on the phone, text or email. Mark was always willing to help out where ever it was needed. He is hard working and honest and works with quality subcontractors. Our house came out beautiful and the quality is amazing. I would highly recommend Mark to do any project, and would hire him again in the Here is a link to our home on Houzz http://www.houzz.com/projects/1482269

Over the course of two months Chris remodeled a basement studio apartment for me. He gutted the existing bathroom, nstalled vinyl flooring, did a new bathroom, built shelves, painted, did plumbing and electric work, installed a small kitchen and did a number of other odd jobs on the property. Chris is a master craftsmen who is a perfectionist with his work. His prices are reasonable and he is 100 percent honest and trustworthy. I even gave him a blank check once for materials. I am using my unit as an airbnb apartment and guests regularly comment on the craftsmanship of the apartment and specifically the bathroom. I really can't say enough good things about Chris. I plan on using him for all my work from here on out. I will let the photos speak for themselves.

Jerry Davis and his crew installed a tile floor in my kitchen for me in Glastonbury Ct. They set the tile on a 45 degree angle which came out beautiful. Everything was completed in the span of a few days as promised. My house was left clean. It was truly a pleasure to have them work for me. I would recommend their services to anyone and plan on using them for future projects.

We recently completed a large addition at our home and recruited Dakota Builders to oversee the project. This was not a small undertaking, by any means. Kevin showed up everyday, on time, negotiated with contractors (there were many) and met with us on a daily basis to discuss ongoing progress, quotes, time frames, etc. He worked closely with our architect, laid out everything and was very detail oriented. We made the right choice with Kevin. His work ethic and attention to detail is outstanding.
