Epic BBQ Wedding Reception The full menu and catering service of Just Hors D'Oeuvres goes way beyond the appetizers. With their vast selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts, its hard to imagine a combination which cannot more than please the most demanding of guests. Their grilled lamb, skirt steak and beef tenderloin exceeded high quality expectations and only unsolicited complements were received from many of the guests. The entire staff worked tirelessly for eight hours serving have passed Hors douerves, creating inventive mixed drinks, grilling and organizing the delicious buffet and desserts. The caterers are focused and busy with many events both large and small so just keep this in mind when trying to determine menu selection and coordinating with the various other vendors working your event

I hired Rich Stein for my wedding at the Carousel at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. Approximately 100 guests and he handled them all with ease, demonstrating the professional he truly is! Totally focused, kept on top of everything! Prior to the event, he was very helpful in assisting me with liquor decisions, among other issues specific to this venue, and answered questions promptly and completely. I had certain liquors set aside for a few certain people, and that went smoothly. I felt totally stress-free knowing he was in charge of everything at the bar. I would not hesitate to hire Rich again, next time, perhaps a catering gig because I hear he is a great chef, as well! Thanks, Rich!
Whether you are having a small get together for a few or a large gathering, be rest assured that your event will be amazing! Chef Michel is extremely professional, respectful, and friendly! He catered 2 events for our family and we were very pleased with both. The first was a party of nearly 100 people celebrating our son’s college graduation and daughter’s high school graduation. Our second event was a last minute post Thanksgiving weekend family get together for 12-15 people. Everything from the planning, to taste testing, and delivery was on point. Aside from the food being beyond mouth watering delicious, he coordinated with outside vendors to provide everything we needed to make the graduation event beautiful. He also provided on site chefs and wait staff, all of which were professional and attentive to details. They were flexible in their assigned roles and remained past the scheduled time to attend to our guests and clean up. Our home was left as clean as it was when they arrived! Chef Michel prides himself on delivering the best quality and freshest foods possible. Other than a few items that required pre-prep (like marinating / slow cooking...definitely try the roast pork and roast chicken) everything was prepared (cut, fried, cooked, assembled etc) on site. This truly makes a difference when you’re serving items like empanadas or tostones with avocado and shrimp (both highly recommended). Chef Michel is very creative. Whether you choose something from his printed menus, have other items in mind, or even have a special recipe that you want him to prepare...HE CAN DO IT! An important point to make about his catering style is that he is so proud of his creations that he wants everyone to be able to taste everything that he prepares. If you choose an appetizer and you have 100 people, you are not going to get 1 or 2 pieces per person or be charged by the piece, like most caterers. He will make sure you have more than enough for everyone. The same applies to your main course. We had leftovers for ourselves, even after our guests took food home. With all of this said, I truly feel that his prices are fair and reasonable! I could write more and would be more than happy to speak to anyone who has any questions, but I’ll end with...make sure you try his homemade ice creams (our favorites were coconut and pineapple), flan, and especially the sangria!
Chef catered a large family gathering (24 people with 6 kids) in a home we rented in the hamptons. He and his staff were amazing. They were professional, fun to work with, and easy to work with as well! The food was delicious. He even created a cocktail of "the day" that was a smashing success! (+ he brought a bartender to help) I originally went with Chef Plum because when I put the bid out for the event Chef had the most creative ideas for menu, drinks and was great to talk to on the phone. I knew from the start that he'd be easy to work with. From day 1 to the day of the event, he was amazing. Always responsive, helpful and took a ton off our "plate" as he helped organize rentals, glassware, and a lot of other details. This was an amazing event thanks to chef and his team. I highly recommend him!!
They catered our son's graduation party. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was exceptional. We loved Cameron's carved carrot birds! They personally served the desserts to all our guests and cleared used plates from the tables and also made sure our home was spotless when then left. We look forward to Cameron and Christine catering our younger son's graduation party in two years.
I hired Platter Matters Catering for my 40th Birthday Party. Ivett did a phenomenal job planning the entire event! She took care of all the rentals and flower arrangements, too. Bernadett helped me create a custom menu(many allergies in the family). The staff was very friendly and professional. All of my guests raved about their food and service. We were so happy to have chosen Chef Anne to cater our Mom's 90th Birthday Party. From my first conversation with her to follow up email she was helpful professional and provided first rate service. Chef Anne made recommendations as well as guided me thru selecting Glueten Free etc type dietary concerns. I felt like Ive known her for years as she is so easy to work with, now I have a friend in the catering business. We had many positive comments how delicious everything was and I would recommend her and will be happy to call her again.
Kathy provided drop-off catering for 30 at my private residence following a graveside memorial service for my mother. We asked for the luncheon to be totally vegetarian. Kathy provided a great selection of sandwiches, plus a hot pasta and a hot quiche. Appetizers and a fine selection of desserts were also provided. Kathy was prompt, professional and checked in several times before the event to make sure our plans would be handled correctly. We were quite pleased with all aspects of Kathy's services, and would recommend her to others.
Three Men make it a point to be accomodating and attentive to any and all questions and concerns. It doesn't take much to figure out that they're passionate about quality cuisine! The delicious food speaks for itself; after a bite, you'll get it! From slow roasted tomato bruschetta to baked ziti with homemade marinara, the food is so scrumptious! And what's awesome is that Three Men strive to keep their pricing competitive.

Susan was fantastic from the start! She provided a great menu and a quote within my budget. I am a meeting planner and I work with caterers twice a year, all over the US. Few have offered to stay on site during meal service and that was a very special perk that Seaflour offers. I love the personal touch, and the attention to detail. I would work with her again anytime and wish I could clone her for other meeting locations!
