John is a very good teacher - he helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and on the road. I learned a lot in the few lessons that I've had with him, things that go beyond the license test. He is very patient, concise and attentive!

Jer is an all around great tutor. The range of subjects he can help with is truly amazing. We hired him to help with standardized testing, AP Statistics and AP Calculus. He has a great demeanor, he is well prepared for lessons, and he is really able to explain concepts very well which is the key. I highly recommend him!

Dr.V is an incredible French teacher. I really enjoy his teaching technique. I am confident that if I continue my lessons (2x a week) for an indefinite amount of time I will be fluent in reading, writing and conversation. I recommend Dr.V without reservation. Having a very strong Russian accent, I was seeking some assistance with training that would help me speak better English and reduce my accent. After taking a few classes, I already find it easier to pronounce English words correctly and I am looking forward to the upcoming sessions. I am taking classes with Jessica and she is really helping me gain more confidence with speaking! If you are looking for some help with your accent I would definitely recommend giving these courses a try. They are the perfect pace and help you gradually build your confidence with the English language.

I just started with Jose today. He showed up early and I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful teacher he is. I'm very pleased. He has a wonderful sense of humor, is knowledgeable and is very adamant about you learning the specifics of the language and pronunciation. And, yet, he makes it fun! I'm looking forward to his next lesson.

About

I make learning a language fun through various activities such as singing, acting out and immerse in the culture right here in the U.S. I enjoy teaching culture as well as the language in addition since I myself am from Peru. What also makes me stand out is that my student will take a pre and post assessment to ensure their time with me has been effective, as well as keep the student accountable for their learning.

About

I will help you improve and harness your written and verbal skills and build confidence in day-to-day interactions as well as in your professional life.

About

About

Most teachers, like me, are professional musicians who supplement their income by giving lessons. However: I genuinely love teaching and would happily do it even if I didn't need the money. My students can see the passion and excitement I have for my work, and that does wonders in their ability to learn and develop. It is one thing to play an instrument well, but it is another thing entirely to know how to teach it well.

About

I started to love music at a very young age. I got involved in chorus and guitar, piano, acting, and singing.

About

I received my Master of Fine Arts degree in dance and choreography from Smith College as a teaching fellow, and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. I have served as a faculty member for Boston University, Bridgewater State University, Colleges of the Fenway, Kennesaw State University (KSU), Louisiana State University (LSU), Regis College, and Smith College. I have presented work at national professional venues including Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Boston, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans and New York in addition to Beijing and Taiwan. I have received funding nationally and internationally to conduct my research on Dance and Culture.
