FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you decide to work with me the good news is that I always work over time and I don't charge for it. Also, I'm always available if you have any questions. Most importantly, I think 24/7 about how I can teach better. I really care about making you like the music more, not less.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we are going to figure out what the student wants to learn. We will try to articulate it as clearly as possible. Then, I will come up with a plan that will get us there in a way that is fun but also highly productive. Even though I try to keep in mind the student's goals in mind, I also encourage my students to try something new to broaden their horizon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did a lot of international piano competitions (you're free to request my CV) and I spend thousands of hours trying to come up with solutions to artistic problems. I started playing the piano late which made my path somewhat difficult. However, I've gained first-hand knowledge of how to be creative when dealing with unusual problems and how to be persistent. I'm especially excited to work with people who find it difficult to learn to play. It makes me happy to flip their conceptions about the musical craft.
