- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Inquiry Form Start by filling out a short inquiry form. This helps me learn a bit about you, your goals, and what you’re looking for in voice lessons. It also allows me to make sure my studio is a good fit and prepare thoughtfully for our first conversation. Step 2: Schedule Your Free 20-Minute Intro Lesson If it feels like a good fit, I’ll personally reach out to schedule your free 20-minute intro lesson at a time that works for you. Step 3: Intro Lesson (Relaxed & No Pressure) Your intro lesson is a casual, low-pressure mini session on Zoom. We’ll chat about your goals, try a few simple vocal exercises, and get a feel for what working together would be like. This is a chance for both of us to make sure ongoing lessons feel supportive and aligned. Step 4: Join the Studio If we decide to move forward, you’ll sign up for a monthly studio subscription. Lessons are held virtually on Zoom, so you can take voice lessons from the comfort of your own home. From there, we’ll build consistency, confidence, and long-term growth together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hey I’m Jill! An evidence based voice teacher who believes that singing should feel supportive, empowering, and enjoyable. I work with students of all ages and experience levels, offering virtual voice lessons rooted in strong vocal technique, mind-body awareness, and nervous system support. My goal is to help singers build sustainable technique while feeling confident, grounded, and connected to their voice — without pressure or burnout. I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre and have trained extensively in evidence-based vocal pedagogy, including certifications in vocal function, mix, and belt mechanics. I’m also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, a practice that deeply informs the way I approach breath, tension, and vocal coordination in lessons. As a performer, I’ve worked professionally in musical theatre, recording, and live performance, and have released original music across pop and rock styles. This performance background allows me to support students not only technically, but artistically and emotionally as well. At the heart of my teaching is a simple belief: every student deserves to leave their lesson feeling capable, confident, and supported — not just as a singer, but as a human being. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me sipping a matcha latte, spending time with my husband Ethan, and hanging out with our pets.
