The most enjoyable learning session I have experienced. He adapts to the way I learn. He explains then demonstrates in his lessons. I felt comfortable enough to ask questions. This was not my first salsa lesson but it was the first time I did not feel frustrated, overwhelmed and defeated after a lesson. Look forward to my progression with lessons.
Arati is a super cool, friendly and fun instructor! I really appreciate her teaching style and content, as well as the warm and open environment that she provides for, in the class. I have learned so much in such a short time! She has a keen eye and provides excellent feedback on the subtle nuances with close individualized attention. Her attention to your technique is unmatched. She simplifies movements, offers helpful cues about technique and imparts confidence all while keeping the class fun. Very highly recommend Aratis Salsa lessons! 
I recently decided to take dance lessons for the first time. I was a bit nervous, as I'm a terrible dancer, however, I wanted to at least try it once. My first lesson with Tonisha turned out to be so much fun, and I felt very comfortable! Tonisha has an amazing talent and is knowledgeable about dance, assesses your level quicky, and begins to teach you how to move so that you see improvement with your first lesson! The first night, she choreographed a dance routine that I was able to learn that night! She has given me inspiration and confidence that I can actually do this! I would recommend Tonisha to anyone who is trying for the first time or who is experienced, but wants to take it to the next level! ~ D
I came to Irina with two left feet and a whole lot of trepidation. I had only danced a few times previously, and because I really had no clue what I was doing, I was a bit uncomfortable. Irina helped to change that. In just a handful of lessons, Irina taught me the basic steps, how to lead, and a few showy moves so I can make my date look hot on the dance floor! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to learn to dance, and will be returning myself for salsa lessons! Thank you Irina!
JesAnn is a tar combination of great dancer, patient instructor, and articulate teacher. I've had lessons with people who can dance but aren't great teachers - Jes is both! Ye, she will push you, but in a good way and will make sure you have fun along the way. After having worked with her for several years, I can confidently say that it doesn't matter if you have two left feet, or you been dancing for years, she can help you!
Both as a team and individually, Shimkiri and Werner really inspire me to become a better dancer, and I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to grow as a dancer or to start dancing! I began taking private Latin dance lessons with Shimkiri about two years ago. I was so impressed by her passion for dancing and her enthusiasm in sharing her talent with her students! She has a great way of staying patient as I learn new steps while still pushing and challenging me enough so that I would improve as a dancer. Later on as we began training for a competition and a showcase, her husband Werner began coaching me, too. Like Shimkiri, he was so eager to share his passion with me, and his instructions were so clear even with the more difficult steps. They are a wonderful couple, and I really encourage anyone looking for dance lessons to see that for themselves!
I took a private salsa lesson with Maximo and learned so much! He is a great instructor with a lot a patience and great attention to detail. I look forward to taking more lessons with Maximo to improve my technique and learn more afro cuban movements.
I am brand new to Salsa and Paulina approached our lesson with patience. She is a phenomenal teacher and I feel like I've learned so much after only one lesson already. I look forward to continuing my lessons with Paulina and learning Salsa!
Great salsa lesson with Ekaterina and Armand. Great venue and instruction.
Uros is a very good dancer. He can teach any style- International Tango and other International dances, and American style as well. He taught group classes and private lessons. I learned a lot from him. He is professional and nice. We did a Waltz for a studio show.
Aliya is an amazing dance instructor! My sister and I hired her to help us recreate a music video as a fun surprise present for our mom. She took this unconventional request and ran with it. She scheduled a call before our session to make sure our expectations were aligned with hers. She then came very prepared to the dance session and really used every minute well. We are all dance novices and she made us feel comfortable and confident and we all had a great time! We ended up getting through the entire music video in just two hours (which greatly surpassed my family's expectations). In summary: Aliya truly went above and beyond. She is fun, professional and very prepared. Highly recommend!
We came to this school to learn salsa we signed up for one of there programs and the experience we have gotten has been amazing. We now can dance not only salsa but four other dances as well.
Ms. Patrice is an excellent teacher. She is patient with beginners and she is encouraging. I came to Ms. Patrice for tap and salsa and I had so much fun! She is an outstanding teacher.
Restie Dantis is a dance teacher that makes you feel totally confident that you can become a competent ballroom dancer. My husband Tony and I have taken many lessons with Restie and look forward to taking many more in the future. Another couple at the dance studio who was being taught by another teacher always appeared stiff and uncomfortable when dancing. Restie later took over their teaching when the other teacher became unavailable and I must say that Tony and I were utterly amazed at how good they had become! We've had lessons from many other professional ballroom dancers but never felt comfortable taking what we learned to ballroom socials. With Restie, doing ballroom at a social dance became fun!
Had an excellent experience taking lessons at this studio. Always wanted to learn how to dance so started taking salsa classes here. They are great. Noelia, my teacher, is excellent. Highly recommend this school.
"eleveN toes" is figuratively befitting Jorge as a salsa instructor. He has extra patience, extra attention to details and extra motivation. I left my lesson feeling accomplished and excited for my next session.
I have a passion for dance, and I would love to spread my love for it to others. I have been dancing salsa for 5 years now. I am part of a team where we travel and perform and compete. I have choreographed sweet 16 dances and school performances before. I am also experienced in modern, African-Caribbean, contemporary and jazz.
I teach excellent private salsa lessons at a price you can't beat with an instructor. You can feel absolutely comfortable.
We teach the individual, rather than the class. Every student works at his/her own level and pace. Even if you don't come every week, you will pick up where you left off. We put a lot of thought and time into each individual while being very affordable. We love what we do!
A fun and friendly atmosphere, Viva Salsa Dance Studio teaches you the fundamentals of dancing salsa while having a great time! No pressure just fun in a way that stays with the student always. Two left feet? That's ok, we'll let you a right one! Dancing should be fun and easy. That is where Viva Salsa Dance Studio excels!
I don't only teach technique. My lessons are comprehensive of musical notions as well as Cuban culture, religion and body movement. Salsa is not just spinning.
