Melvin was very responsive and respectful. He came on relatively short notice to do a job for us and offered a very fair price. The project involved bleaching and applying a protective finish to newly installed white oak steps in our garage.

The work was done professionally over two days, as several coats were required. Everything was straightforward — no hidden costs, no surprises. They came, did the job well, and delivered exactly as promised.

We hope to work with Melvin again in the future. Thanks again, Melvin!

Details: Luxury vinyl flooring • 751 - 1,000 sq ft • I will purchase the materials • Home

Melvin is so professional! He responded quickly, and kindly to our interest in having work done. He provided an estimate in no time and it was reasonably priced. His work is excellent - we received new wood floors and new walls - all beautifully done! And, he was able to get the job done by our deadline! I highly recommend Melvin and Sayayin Painting for any home repair or renovation job. He’s very sweet, very good at his job and has a hardworking team! Thank you, Melvin!

Details: Engineered hardwood • 501 - 750 sq ft • I'm flexible • Home

Melvin and his team are fantastic. They are trustworthy, hardworking, and adaptable to lots of different types of work. They helped me completely renovate my bathroom by painting it and microcementing over some outdated tile, which made a massive difference! I hired them for 5 rooms, painting, wallpaper, and tile work. I am planning to hire them for more projects very soon!

Details: Bathroom • Tub or shower enclosure • Floor • Less than 25 sq ft • Mosaic • No, but I will buy the tiles myself

Melvin and his team were quick to come by the house to provide an on-site estimate. Once hired, the team came within a couple days and completed the job within 48 hours. I am thoroughly impressed with how quickly they responded from my initial outreach to job completion in a very busy part of my house. The finished product looks incredible and I have already asked them to come back to provide estimates for other painting/carpentry jobs in other areas of our home. Couldn’t be happier with the results.

Details: Home • 2 rooms • Trim • Walls • 8 - 10 feet (standard ceiling) • Repainting, with a color change • Fair - minor holes and scratches • Homeowner or property manager • No, this is not new construction • I'm flexible • Owner
