We hired Brian to build/install and paint some simple custom shelving in a useless nook behind our shower. They came out perfect and for a fair price. He also regrouted portions of our shower and floor. Since then the Fratturo’s (both Brian, Harry and their crew, have completely rebuilt our old deck and added to it. (Was told by another contractor the original framing was unsalvageable and we’d need to rebuild it entirely). He also painted a hallway w staircase on short notice without issue. We just sold that house and they will be doing all the same things to our new one. They are the only choice.

Harry and Brian worked for weeks to completely rebuild the staircase into our basement. Our house was built in 1941 and the basement was pretty much unusable because of the very steep and narrow staircase - you had to duck walking the steps and it was dangerous. It took Harry and Brian weeks to get this project done and my husband and I could not be happier with the results - the staircase is usable, the headroom is great, and they did it without eating up too much of our main floor living room space. In addition to just rebuilding the stairs, the job included tearing down and putting up a new wall, as well as patching hardwood floors - they did a great job on everything. Our house is almost unrecognizable (in a good way!). You can tell that they really care about their work and take the time to make sure everything is done right, unlike some other contractors we have worked with. Harry and Brian are practically part of our family now and we will be using them for projects in the future!

Brian recently remodeled our main bathroom, it was our first experience with a contractor that is not a relative so I was not sure what to expect. We are very pleased with the final product, it turned out better than I expected. The bathroom needed a lot of work, a total gut job as it’s an older home with a few plumbing problems with an uneven floor. Brian was a huge help in the initial design phase, helping guide us in the right direction in terms of materials (tile and fixtures). His estimate was on par with the job given how involved it was, he helped identify areas to cut costs appropriately, which was a huge help. From Demo to completion, he was very transparent about progress; the timing and next steps so there were no surprises. His team put plastic in the doorways, covered floors, and used fans to ensure the rest of my house was not disrupted or messy. Each day when I came home, the house was clean and it was hard to tell they were there other than the progress in the bathroom. In the end, the bathroom looks amazing; it is an incredible update for our family and will increase the value of our home for sure. My favorite part is the custom niche shelf that Brian designed for my very tall shampoo bottles. We would definitely hire him again for this or any future home.

We have found all sorts of things for Brian to do, and some have turned into bigger jobs then we had originally though, and he has continued to work on them; for instance, keeping water from pouring in side door. He has patched a hole in our sheetrock and re-hung a stair railing, he give plenty of notice when he is coming and going and is always on time. He keeps his worksite very clean and keeps his eye on the dog, we are very pleased.
