Because I was also juggling moving logistics and completely exhausted, I decided to hire a professional cleaner in the Madison, CT area through Thumbtack. After reading reviews, I came across Rocha Cleaning Service, and I am SO glad I trusted my instincts and hired her.
From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, polite, professional, and accommodating. She did need to shift the arrival time slightly the day before/day of due to something unexpected coming up — which naturally gives you a tiny moment of “uh oh, I hope this still works out” — but she communicated clearly, offered an even earlier arrival window, and followed through exactly as promised. In fact, she arrived earlier than expected and immediately put me at ease.
What impressed me most was her work ethic and attention to detail. This was not a quick surface clean. She worked quietly, respectfully, and nonstop for HOURS — I believe roughly from noon until close to 5 PM — and I genuinely never once saw her stop working. She was incredibly thorough without ever being intrusive or disruptive.
I specifically asked her to focus not only on the general cleaning, but also on details like:
• baseboards
• doors and around handles
• cabinetry and woodwork
• bathrooms and bedrooms
• kitchen detailing
My friend’s home has beautiful painted woodwork, large cabinetry, and multiple bathrooms/bedrooms, and this woman cleaned EVERYTHING meticulously. At one point I literally saw her sitting cross-legged on the floor, carefully washing baseboards by hand and methodically moving room to room with extraordinary care.
The house looked BEAUTIFUL when she finished. Truly. Almost everything was done to perfection, and it was obvious she takes enormous pride in her work. She was also extremely respectful of the home itself — quiet, unobtrusive, trustworthy, and thoughtful throughout the entire process.
And honestly? The value was incredible. She honored the original estimate despite the amount of work involved, and considering how hard and how long she worked, I felt the pricing was more than fair.
It is genuinely rare these days to find someone this hardworking, diligent, respectful, and detail-oriented. Rocha Cleaning Service exceeded every expectation I had, and I would hire her again without hesitation. If you are considering booking her: do it. You will not be disappointed.

Debora abd Ely were very thorough and responsive to our requests to clean the tough kitchen areas. In addition they were friendly and kind.
We would hire Rocha cleaners again. Highly recommend them.
