Acebass Studios

At Acebass Studios, we use modern, computer-assisted methods of instruction; no method books are used. Instead, a personalized agenda is developed based on the student's goals and requirements. We teach a more relaxed technique on both electric and upright bass. Our method of playing involves less motion and allows both hands to work in sync, while getting better tone and speed. We teach application of theory which will improve playing, whether you're reading or playing by ear. We don't just teach the scales and arpeggios - We show you how to apply them to everyday playing. We teach all styles, from classical to rock for 4 to 6-string electric, as well as upright bass -- pizzicato and arco. Reading is suggested, but optional. Seeing students improve and get work.
