When I first started working towards becoming a DJ over a decade ago, I had one goal - to create the best experience for anyone that books me. While other DJs have trouble taking requests, I gear my business to please my clients. I always ask for a playlist before every event to ensure that the atmosphere of the event is perfect. Your event is the most important thing to you and me. During the planning process, I make sure to talk with my employers to make sure that everyone is on the same page. My ability to read the crowd and extensive music library has blessed me with a majority of my events being referral based. My love for music continues to push me to find new tricks to play music. My music selection consists of: Hip Hop R&B Pop Dance House Dancehall Afrobeat The past decade has allowed me to put smiles on peoples faces. Absolutely phenomenal. I've been to a lot of weddings recently and DJ Morriscode was easily the best DJ of all of them. He makes his presence known to the perfect amount to enhance the experience while not being overbearing and trying to steal the show. Booking was super easy, he was quick to make suggestions to fill in some gaps in my playlist, and he was able to adapt to my special requests and even provided impromptu commentary when appropriate. I was on the fence to even get a DJ for my wedding but rest assured, he's absolutely worth it.

I make my price based off all the information I receive about the event. Depending on the event I try to be flexible and work with my clients budget, while upholding to my prices.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before agreeing to DJ an event, I get all the information on where it is, how long I will be providing music, and how many people will be there, and any other valuable information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned how to DJ when I went to Beat Refinery in Bethesda MD. I graduated from Hampton University with an Audio Production degree.
