Very knowledgeable, flexible, listens to the customer, and a hard worker. Plan to use him for other jobs! UPDATE: He claimed to know how to work on older homes and he lied. He destroyed the trim and walls around a closet being turned into a pantry. We had agreed for him to show up each morning at 7 so he could leave early for some classes he was taking. The first day there was no class, so he showed up at 10:30 and didn't think he needed to tell me he'd be late. Then he quit the job and left me with a mess that a master carpenter will need to fix. He is not who he claims to be.

I will definitely be hiring Stephen Perry to do work again. He was an absolute pleasure and completed our project quickly and with much patience, as I can be quite picky when it comes to my home projects. The re-staining of our front door turned out even more beautiful than expected and of course so MUCH less expensive than having to buy one new!!

Update: Mr. Perry came over a few weekends ago and did a fantastic job repairing the front door! Very pleased with the results. We will definitely be contacting Mr. Perry in the future. Thanks! Stephen was a no show. No call, no text, no nothing. Pretty disappointed. It has been so difficult finding a reliable handyman for a variety of things around the house, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. It seems no one wants money these days. I'll keep looking.
