FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a standard price system which is listed on our website. We may have some periodic specials, birthday discount, etc. If you appreciate your therapist's honest professional work, you can give tips after you received the massage. The customary tip range is 10%-30% and it is totally up to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The new customer comes in early (15 minutes) to fill out an Intake form and discuss with the therapist their conditions, etc. They then have time to do the optionals: have a glass of water; use the restroom. Once the customer is in the massage room, they get undress and get on the massage table and lay down under the sheet before the therapist enters the room. During the massage, you will be covered except the area that the therapist is working on. After massage, you get dressed and come out the room to check out. You will be offered a glass of water usually at that time. You can also discuss with your therapist further about your continuous care for your problems if you have any. You can reserve your next appointment before you leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each therapist has different background besides getting training from a massage school and received a professional license to practice massage. At Qi Spa, our therapists have background somewhere from high school graduate to advanced degree from graduate school in US, e.g., Sports University, Chiropractic, MS in Biology, MS in Law, Acupuncture certificate, etc.
