I’m happy to have found Mr. Ronald on the Thumbtack App, to tutor my 15 y.o. with his geometry work. After a few session, he has a much better understanding of which formulas & rules to use to solve problems and has brought his grade up. I’m relieved, knowing that I now have a permanent math tutor for him, as he progresses from high school math into college courses soon. I highly recommend Mr. Ronald!Jan 29, 2021Verified

I needed help getting over my math anxieties and actaully learning some of the many different concepts of math. I reached out to a few tutors and found that Ronald was very knowledgeable and on his game. Ronald is dedicated and professional. We setup a few sessions which went great. He makes it seem easy and have you buying into mastering math. I learned a lot and I am no longer afraid of math. If it wasn't for Ronald's help, I wouldn't been able to pass my exam. Those study sessions paid off. A part of me now loves math. Thanks Ronald! I really appreciate you. This tutor is legit!Jan 26, 2021Verified

Ronald was my tutor for my MBA business analytics course. I have been out of school for over 20 years and was struggling with learning the concepts. Ronald was extremely patient with me. Because he is so knowledgeable of subject matter, he was able to explain the concepts at a level that I could understand. We would recording our sessions, which was extremely helpful for review in between our sessions. Besides being patient, he is incredibly caring. He takes great pride in making sure his students succeed. He is very encouraging and would routinely go above and beyond to make sure I understood the material. I know for a fact that I would not have passed my course if it wasn’t for him. He has been a tremendous blessing. I highly recommend him as tutor, he is truly one of the best.Mar 1, 2021Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Negotiable
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically ask for the student to first provide a class syllabus (if applicable) so I get a better idea of the concepts that are being covered in class. I also ask the student to provide examples of problems or concepts that they are struggling with. This will be informative for me as I will be able to prepare adequately to ensure that our first session will be as productive as possible. Most importantly, I will sometimes ask for notes or ppts from their course to ensure that the symbols and terminology (especially in Statistics) that we use during the session remains consistent with the ones in class. It is my experience that symbols and certain approaches vary by professors and and textbooks so it's a good idea to keep it consistent to avoid confusions during the session.
