Music is my purpose. I am a DC based R&B singer-songwriter, certified vocal coach, choral teacher, GRAMMYs Recording Academy member and 8x Washington Area Music Award nominee. A New York Vocal Coaching Academy alum with over 10 years experience performing and teaching vocal training; I am committed to teaching students to sing at their best and to command the stage with confidence.
Music has opened so many doors for me. I am devoted to the impact, confidence and positive change music provides and strive to bring that to the community. I am passionate about bringing music to underprivileged areas where schools do not have the funding; working with non-profits such as The Musicianship and Project Create DC.
I truly enjoy being able to use my gift to improve the lives of others. I work with students every step of the way. Beyond technical proficiency, I urge students to find the joy and individuality in their voice; this breeds a confidence that surpasses the stage.
I offer a welcoming, judgement free-zone with customized lessons for each student and the areas they need the most guidance. I provide students a safe space to be themselves, make mistakes and grow not only as confident singers but individuals.
***Zoom lessons available due to COVID-19 as well as in person lessons at my home for vaccinated students. Due to my schedule, I do not travel to students. Please feel free to reach out via my website as well.***

This was my first time with a vocal coach and being a new artist just starting out she was welcoming and made the space comfortable while also being conversational. I’m releasing my first single and I want it done right so I went to her before going into the studio to record and she saw my vision and ideas and helped me to elevate them. Definitely will not be our last session together when you find someone that you can learn from you’ve got to soak it up.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am flexible, I recognize we are coming out of a very uncertain time. Everyone should be able to enjoy the gift of music and am willing to negotiate pricing if needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I assess the skill level and goals of the student and I put together a personalized plan that maximizes the student’s musical growth and enjoyment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been performing for over 15 years and was privately taught for more than 10. I am a certified vocal coach through the New York Vocal Coaching Academy; a truly phenomenal program lead by world-renowned voice teacher Justin Stoney. He has coached multiple Tony and GRAMMY winners. My experience and knowledge enables me to create customized plans for my students that focus on their musical goals.
