- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The standard rate for a voice lesson is $80 per hour or $280 for a 4-session package per month. $70 per 45min and $50 for 30min. Piano lesson - $60 per hour. Language/ diction - $50 per hour. Travel fee - $20. The minimum duration of an in-home lesson is 1 hour. STUDIO POLICY: - Payment is due at the beginning of each month and has to be paid at the first lesson of each month or within 7 days from receiving my online Invoice. Cash and check are the preferred payment methods. PayPal is accepted with a 3% fee. - If you/me must cancel a lesson and we both cannot find a suitable time to make up the missed lesson, then I will give you credit for the next month, and your missed lesson's fee will be deducted from the next month bill. - In order to provide everyone with the best possible training, I require 24 HOURS NOTICE when canceling a lesson. If you must cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson, you will be responsible for the cost of the entire session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- I create a very comfortable atmosphere for a new student to feel relaxed and show his/her best. - At the first lesson, I ask a student to sing anything he wants for checking his voice; then I give the specific vocal scales to verify his/her type of voice. - Then I explain and show in general how I work with the technique and which kind of exercises I require. - Together with a student, we try a little bit to apply on his/her voice and body the newly received information. - In the following lessons, I slowly concentrate on the specific aspects of the technique one by one (breath, position, relaxation, vowels, etc...) - After a student feel comfortable enough to sing different scales and vowels, we start to apply it on a simple song
