About
The method is not just based in conversation as other tutors do. I worked verb conjugation, vocabulary and grmmar points in the class. I have been teaching and learning intensely and with the time I've learnt where are the difficulties and struggles of my students and how to help them overcome them. Witness students that once thought that learning Spanish was very hard, impossible and/or boring and see them enjoying in a couple of months speaking Spanish. Also see them engaged in the challenge of the language excersises I do. In top of that sharing points of view of our different culture.

Eduardo Cuesta is an extraordinary teacher. He "meets you where you are" and works with you at whatever level/ experience you begin with. I have been taking lessons for several months and feel more confident in my speaking/ reading the language. I am a beginner. I had some Spanish in elementary school, and have taken several classes in a classroom setting--but never felt confident enough to have a conversation. I now feel confident to speak more and practice conversational skills. Eduardo is always prepared to give you relevant and practical exercises to do at home. He also uses readings, conversation, television and media, and language exercises/drills. A perfect combination of "classroom type" exercises and conversational exercises. I had the opportunity to take Spanish lessons with Eduardo Cuesta for several years and was impressed with his passion for teaching and sharing his language. He was always well-prepared and used multi-media methods, including text, periodicals, tv shows and music to help you immerse in the language. He is a dedicated teacher and adept at making you feel comfortable and confident to speak and challenge yourself.

I took Spanish lessons from Eduardo for 3 years and would highly recommend him. I studied Spanish for several years in high school, but I remembered almost nothing when I started with Eduardo. By the end of the lessons, I was able to speak confidently and at a high level. Eduardo is very professional and passionate about the language. His lessons are also very different than what you would encounter in school. He does a great job of incorporating television shows and literature that is appropriate for your level. He also devotes a good part of the lesson to conversation to improve your confidence and speaking abilities.

Eduardo is an amazing Spanish teacher! He is patient and engaging, and I really enjoyed my classes with him. He made the classes very interesting, with a combination of drills, conversational practice, and other activities. I learned a lot! Thanks Eduardo!
