- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since each student's needs are so different, pricing can be negotiated depending on frequency of working sessions, be it learning Spanish or English as a new language, learning writing techniques, essay writing and so on. Also, pricing will be affected by the length of time learning sessions will continue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Analyzing needs first. Then, chatting comfortably to determine how best a new customer may be able to learn quickly the skill desired. Every customer's learning skills are very different in my experience. So, ways to work with each individual customer are my first consideration. Also, it is important to determine with my new customer realistic goals to achieve within a desired timeframe.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an experience "classical" journalist/writer, meaning that I believe that clear thinking leads to clear writing. And, I've taken many excellent courses on creating structures for professional writing pieces of all sorts beyond journalistic writing. Techniques taught to me by pros early on in life have served me well over many years. And, the craft of creative writing is an area that I am passionate about doing and teaching as well. I am a published journalist, and I have studied with superb creative writing instructors, also published novelists, essayists and the like.
