Introduction: I am dedicated to teaching and mentoring the next generation of achievers in the STEM fields. I tutor my students with the sincere intent of strengthening their fundamentals in these disciplines and prepare them for the college admission tests (SAT) & academic life thereafter. I have traditionally taught advanced-level Math and Physics to pre-medical students and physics undergraduates but I have also tutored students in high school Math and Science curriculum with impressive outcomes. Through my tutoring and mentorship, I hope to inspire in my students the same passion for the Math and Sciences that I myself had in my formative years. In addition to being super patient, I try to utilize my years of experience to bring out the best in each of my students. I work individually with each one of my students and for each, I prepare a regimen of conditioning and instructional classes on core subject matters that is uniquely suited to them. I believe my sessions are reasonably priced but if need be, I could be found willing to accommodate an OBO or a request for a lower hourly rate depending on the specifics. The above sessions are typically accompanied by assignments and continual evaluations every second week. This ensures that the students are able to address each of their deficiencies in a deliberate manner in the weeks/months leading up to their SAT test or their school/college final exams.

My daughter was recently tutored by Sam for a college pre-cal/trig summer school course. The pace was fast and by the time we called Sam, she was in the fifth of her sixth week. By week 5 her grades were taking a downward spiral as the material was getting more complex. She was teetering on the precipice with a C-. After one intense week of working with Sam she finished with a B. He worked magic. He was patient and and an excellent teacher .I initially worried that he would be "too qualified" to tutor the course, but he was able to explain math to my rising sophomore college daughter, who has always struggled with the subject. He was the best math tutor my daughter has ever had. And a very nice man.
