FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our packages can be found here on our website: capitalfilmsdc.com/cinema-packages
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to set up a simple phone call to get to know the couple and there requirements. Next we set up a FaceTime, Skype or even meet in person to go over details of what exactly will be captured during the wedding day. After, we write up a contract which guarantees the wedding date and services. We do require that 20% of the total be put down at the signing of the contract and the rest is due two weeks before the actual date. Once everything is all said and done, we make a movie!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up as the son of a photographer has many advantages. I operated as his secondary editer when he was backlogged at the age of 10. I also accompanied him to various jobs on a regular basis to help set up and second shoot. At age thirteen, I received my first SLR camera and immersed myself in the world of freelance photography. Over time DSLR cameras became video capable and soon after I made my transition to cinematography. Since then, I have taken classes from the great Ray Roman and Rob Adams specializing in wedding cinematography.
