- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PLWATCHER Photography is an avid supporter of a number of photography-centric Meetup groups in the DC/MD/VA area, which provide education, certifications, and community practice for photographers of all backgrounds and skill levels.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had a passion for photography since middle school yearbook. Over the years, I have honed my craft from shooting in high school for a local newspaper in Atlanta, to shooting in college and working for the local television station. I also have worked as a photographer on several local and state political campaigns. Currently, I freelance with several magazines and corporate clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically, I am called on to cover corporate events, family portraits, weddings, high fashion events, headshots, and promotional events. I greatly enjoy photoshoots, high fashion, and model photography.
