Greetings, First I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this email! My name is Natasha Brown I’m a freelance cosmetologist/makeup artist and the owner of Tasha & Co.. I have over 12 years in the cosmetics industry and have served in a number of positions including sales and artistry. I got my wedding party and I hair and makeup done . This women travel almost 5 hours to replace my original hair n make up artist because she didn't show up for our last trail that Sunday before my wedding . She showed up at 5 am and work till about 1 pm on everyone hair and make up she took one break . I think she did a good job for the time she had we really need more time to get our hair to hold better because it was sooooo hot that day ! If we redo it I would made more time maybe extra 3 hours to makesure everything was perfect but I was pleased and so thankful for her and yes I would hire her again !

I made contact with Tasha who works for the Salon Bar in New Castle Delaware. We set up an appointment time for Friday July 28th at 4. At 2:30 she text me and asked if I could make the time for 5. I said yes. She did not say thank you. I got there at 5 she was not prepared. She seemed pretty nice though so I listened to her tell me that she was going to schedule a four hour block for me to come back the next day which would have been Saturday morning at 9, she would do one side of my face with airbrush and one side traditional makeup so that I could choose. She said she would also bring all these gadgets for a wedding and pieces and everything. I asked her if she needed me to pay her now or Saturday, she said now please. I gave her the $50 for a consultation that was to be done on Saturday at 9 a.m. . At 8:38 on Saturday she text me and told me she had an emergency with her son and that she would be at the shop at 11:15. I said no problem, I'll just come to the shop and get my money back. She responded "no it's okay my mother can sit with him I'll be there at 9:15". At this juncture I really did not want to be bothered with her anymore so I said no I'll be at the shop at 11 to get my $50 back. She said okay. At 10:57 she texted me and tells me she still at the hospital with her son. I asked her which hospital I'll meet you there, she didn't respond. I went to her job, her boss called her and she advised her boss to tell me to meet her at the hospital. I drove there waited out front for a good 10-15 minutes called, texted, she did not answer. Finally I sent her a text that pretty much accused her of being bad and stealing people's money at which point she calls me immediately said she would meet me at 6. At 7 p.m. I still have not heard from her I texted her, she did not answer. Today is Sunday July 30th I texted her this morning still looking for my $50 she has not answered. Please do not hire this person. I feel bad that her son was sick, but business is business and you do not take a person's money and not return it and then ignore their calls. Please do not hire Tasha. I would not recommend anyone hire Tasha from the Salon Bar in New Castle Delaware. On Monday morning I will be filing a lawsuit against the salon owner and Tasha.

I loved Tasha's personality and her energy!! I met her for a trial and talked daily afterwards . After I got numerous PayPal requests in Chinese from her, yes I said Chinese!, I paid for my hair and 5 bridesmaids. The night before the wedding she comes to my hotel at 12AM pretending to be confused about doing my hair. Today is the bug day! And where is the makeup artist who is going to "slay" my hair and beat my face to the God's? Nowhere to be found. Please don't hire this person. Unless you want to be scrambling around for hair and makeup the day if your wedding. Very unprofessional and immature!!! I am beyond livid at this point. Shame on you. Shame on thumbtack.

I don't know where to begin. After speaking with this client on a daily basis and knowing more about her personal life then professional needs I liked her very much as a person. However when it came time for final payment it was not received in due time so the day before the event as promised I went to the address that was given to me to see what condition my client was in. I received a text message earlier that day stating she was making a hair appointment before her rehearsal dinner and I said that was fine. She then said she knew nothing of that conversation and was confused as was I being as though I have the text messages. So as I was stating I drove the two hours without payment to her destination at almost midnight and was left standing at the door. Literally 2 minutes after I drove off she texted me and said there was 20 people in the house and no one seen me. I'm beyond livid because I don't understand why you would not express to me you couldn't make your final payment we could have worked something out clearly I still came. But in this case I believe my kindness was taken for my weakness.

I like to meet with my client before hand if possible. This way I can gather more info and also do a analysis of their skin and what their daily skin care regimen is and what type of makeup they currently use if any.
