- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For training services, I may start with an initial consultation that is free if more sessions are purchased/$25 if no sessions are purchased. I only require the consultation if the owner is looking to correct what I deem are complicated behavioral issues. Then I create a training plan or enroll the pup into one of my packages. All services must be paid for at the time of scheduling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on what the owner is looking for or whether the request for service includes complicated behavioral issues, I may do a 20-30 minute initial consultation first that is free if additional services are purchased and we are a good fit. Then I come up with a plan and we make appointments. If the request is for basic training and the dog has no bite history, we can jump right in and start training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified professional trainer through Animal Behavior College. The certification means that my knowledge has been assessed through rigorous exams.
