FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cats: My rate is $15 per visit for up to 3 cats, which includes providing fresh food and water, litter box cleaning, and play time. More than 3 cats, no problem! We can discuss additional services as needed. Dogs: My rate is $10 per visit for one dog; with an additional $5 per dog for more than one. This includes providing fresh food and water, a short walk/outdoor time, and play time. A longer walk (30-45 minutes) is an additional $10 per walk. Other pets: Usually $15 per visit, depending on the needs of the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a client believes I may be a good match, I like to do a "meet and greet" to get acquainted with the pet and client. We can discuss needs and services, schedules, special diet and/or medications, and any concerns or questions that arise.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a animal lover since birth, and worked as a vet tech while studying animal husbandry in college. I am trained to administer medication, including oral liquids and pills, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. I am experienced in working with senior pets and familiar with the needs of aging companion animals.
