- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally we work on a half day, $300 (4 hours) and full day $500 (8 hours) pricing for clients. We have a 3 hour minimum if we go to the client at $75 hour. That includes our gear. If other gear rental or purchases are needed that is separate. We also give a 20% discount to non-profit organizations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends: Typical would be I get a run down of exactly what the client is looking to accomplish. Either the client gives me a budget and I fit what can be done in that budget or I submit a proposal. After 15 years I still have not gone over the price of my proposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do some education in the classroom but in this business the main thing is to keep up with the capabilities of the gear you are using and look to upgrade as it constantly changes.
