Jared explained more to me than my previous home inspector. I needed to have a re-do of my 4 point inspection and upon showing Jared the previous one it was explained why it was rejected by the insurance company. As a first time home buyer who lives in New York City, I was extremely nervous about selecting a home inspector in Florida. The FSHI website was one of the few I visited that explained the process and its importance, and Jared Nelson far exceeded my expectations. Unlike other home inspectors I interviewed, he didn't try to scare me or sell me unnecessary add ons. He patiently and thoroughly answered all questions, delivered his report on time and followed up to ask if I had any additional questions. I am not easily impressed but Jared is a conscientious professional
