- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge reasonable prices and try to make sure my clients feel that they get a good value for my time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I do a lot of tutoring at places like coffee shops, including Starbucks, Carmela, etc. I also sometimes go to places like Panera where they also have tables and internet. I try to have a non-threatening environment where young people can relax so we can maximize our time together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a credentialed enrolled Actuary. For those that don't really know what an Actuary is : basically, actuaries use their math skills to help solve business problems and there is a series of very difficult exams that one must pass to become an Actuary. In addition, I have a Bachelors degree in Theoretical Physics which is really a combination of Mathematics and Physics.
