- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As each project is unique and custom, several factors are involved in pricing. Estimates given after thorough discussion of potential project. A 50% deposit is required before start of project, balance due upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always encourage clients to have some idea of what they want, or at least offer some clue as to their style and tastes of decor. It is important for me to view the space/item to be painted in the area it will be. I also encourage clients to find images in decor mags, online, etc. which show their likings. Each project is a co-creation, so the client will always get what they want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an artist for most of my life(over 40 years), with a BFA in painting, and extensive experience in the decorative arts world. I also worked as a house painter, then with a faux finishing company before freelancing on my own. For the past 20+ years, I have been independent, sometimes hiring assistants for large-scale projects. I am also well-versed in the construction/design industry as my family owns a high-end construction company.
