I have osteoarthritis in my right knee that I self treat with ice, glucosamine, regular stretching and exercise, and aleve (as needed). By the middle of March, my knee was in such pain and I was frustrated by not being able to get an appointment with a rheumatologist until the end of May. At this point I got clarity that I would rehab the knee doing a lot of the same stretching and strengthening exercises I did from two previous knee rehabilitations. I discussed my knee issue with Elena and she put me on a 10 session plan to strengthen the knee. Elena researched the issue on her own and put together a safe and effective program of stretching and lower body/knee strengthening exercises that have had a great outcome. Over the last 4 weeks I've experienced significant improvement in the knee. I have been able to reduce the amount of aleve I am taking. For the last couple of weeks I have not worn the knee brace. Yesterday I walked to and from my apartment to the ocean with more or less a normal gait and, most importantly, little pain. Elena is very knowledgable and very active about sharing all of that knowledge! Training with her isn’t only an experience for that hour, but for life (she teaches everything shes putting you through, so you feel more confident with fitness routines/lifestyle choices/nutrition on your own) She tracks everything for me so my program is always advancing and I never get stuck, im 2 months in and still gaining muscle AND getting leaner!

I've been so impressed with how incredibly supportive and responsive Elena has been. Shes dedicated to making sure you're trying your best. The workouts shes planned for me and have been amazing so far and I cant wait to continue. Before and after pictures to come once our sessions are complete even though my body has already changed so much. I cant believe how much I'm learning and couldnt recommend her more.

We started in July of 2019 and I do not plan on quitting any time soon. She makes training an intense and memorable experience that pays off in the end big time!! From food tips to different adjustments she creates for me whenever my knee acts up, she is a devoted trainer and will do her best to help you. Now only 4 months in and I can‘t wait for whats to come!

Elena always prepares a varied program for each session, making the hour not only challenging but varied. Training with her is a highlight of my regular visits to Delray.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I do offer package discounts, flexible payment schedules and alternate training options that differ in price. Before I began my career, when I was only first starting my own fitness journey, I failed for a very long time at achieving my goals before I got it right. Very limited financially, leaving me stuck and unable to take the smartest actions towards my goals, I wasted a lot of money on other attempts to move forward. Examples are, various fitness classes, dietary supplements such as weight loss pills, detoxes, 'waist trimmer/sweat belts', skinny teas and more. When I reallocated that money towards a fitness professional and a program catered to me, I got it right and have sustained that to this day. If you have the commitment to create the life you want and you're ready to put the work in towards that, it would be a damn shame if you couldn't pursue it due to the financial aspect. I'm always willing to listen to your situation and see if I have an option that's comfortable for you and still fair me.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    I recommend considering all of the following questions when picking the fitness professional to trust with your experience and goals: ▪ Are they certified as a personal trainer? ▪ Are they familiar with functional training (i.e. training according to daily activities, or according to a specific goal)? ▪ Do they have a background in fitness and a passion for health and wellness? ▪ Do they encourage health and wellness over looks and vanity? ▪ Can they explain what they are going to do in an exercise program and how it will benefit you? ▪ Do they talk about the different kinds and benefits of training methods (i.e. cardio vs. resistance)? ▪ Were they thorough about your medical history and/or concerns? ▪ Did they discuss and/or perform basic strength exercises and flexibility assessments to test and evaluate you? ▪ Have they discussed the importance of flexibility and range of motion? ▪ Do they have a basic understanding of nutrition? ▪ Does your trainer talk about the core? Do they understand core programming beyond doing a plank? ▪ Will your training consist of more free weights than machines? ▪️ Does your trainer explain why this is important? ▪ Do they take notes?
