I am older women who has never exercised or spent time in a gym. I have struggled with Fibromyalgia for many years and my doctor always encouraged me to workout saying that I would feel better. My husband has been training under Raz for the last 18 months and I noticed his overall health was better and he was more fit. Raz comes to the gym in our complex around my schedule. He took his time to gather my information and helped me determine my goals. He takes a personal interest in helping me achieve and maintain my goals. I appreciate the fact he also focuses on exercise safety to avoid injury and helps me with nutrition. I’m known to get bored easily but Raz uses a variety of exercises that make it fun and interesting. It’s been six months and I feel better, down a dress size and my core strength has greatly increased. Raz makes working out fun and we laugh a lot. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He is also my biggest cheerleader. Linda HellenderJun 17, 2018
I found Raz's business card at my community gym. I'm 60 years old and I have lived a sedimentary lifestyle. I knew that if I continued this way I would experience many health issues as I got older. The gym was always very daunting place for me. There are so many machines and I was always afraid I was going to injure myself doing the exercises wrong. Raz lisitened to my needs and concerns and crafted an exercise routine that fit me perfectly Two months into my training I now know the proper technique for each exercise and which muscle groups are getting worked out. This knowledge along with Raz's instruction on proper nutrition for my body has increased my core strength, given me body definition, better posture, and a calmer countenance. Each month Raz records my weight and body measurements. I'm extremely happy to say my weight has dropped by 8 lbs and I've lost 2 inches in my waist. Raz even e mails me the next day asking how I'm feeling after yesterday's workout. That showed me he cares. I regard Raz as a great personal trainer, cheerleader, and a friend. I'm blessed that I met him!! Mark Hellender Boca RatonMar 16, 2017

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every 2 years I have to earn 20 Continuing Education Units or Credits in order to maintain my Certification valid. In 2011, I took an Exercise Science course with Dr. Anthony Abbott at the Fitness Institute International in Boca Raton, FL. I also have to renew my CPR-AED Certification before it expires.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Growing up in Romania, I was surrounded by Sports. I was very active and I played Soccer, Tennis, Basketball and took Karate lessons. After I finished 7th grade someone suggested to go the Gym because I was to skinny for my height. I got set up with a Personal Trainer that taught me what to do and how to do it. I fell in love with Fitness because I started to see muscles that I didn't have before. Also, I loved how I felt after the workout and I still do, to this day. Soon after, my friends saw the shape I got from working out and asked me if I could train them. I said: Sure! Come to the Gym with me! Some of them, still train to this day because of me. That's how I started my Career as a Personal Trainer. It was 1995. I never stopped training ever since. When I moved to US in 2005, I was working out in the Gym, I saw Personal Trainers on the floor training Clients and I had an epiphany. I was like...This is what I used to do back in Romania. I used to train my friends. This is what I want to do for a living! I want to be a Personal Trainer! I got the necessary credentials and started working as a Personal Trainer since 2008. In 2012 I went in Business for my self and now I train Clients in the privacy of their own home or they come to the Gym that I work with. The Fitness journey never ends and I always look for ways to improve my self and the lives of my Clients.
