We recently completed a pool remodeling project with Epic Watershapes at our home in Parkland, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
Our pool was in need of a complete transformation, including resurfacing, new tile, updated coping, and modern design enhancements. From the very beginning, Thiago and his team took the time to understand our vision, offer expert recommendations, and create a plan that fit both our style and budget. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship were evident throughout every phase of the project.
What impressed us most was the professionalism of the entire crew. Communication was excellent, the worksite was kept clean and organized, and every team member treated our property with respect. Complete pool remodel with deck modernization and extension. My wife and I spoke with multiple companies over the course of almost a year shopping the market, deciding on every detail of what we wanted, and ensuring that when we made the final decision, it would be the right one. Right before signing with another company, we came across Sam at Epic Watershapes via a referral from another contractor whom we trust enormously, and we knew. Theres something about him, his approach, and his company that was just right. He didnt just sell us a remodel, he ensured that we got exactly what we wanted, and even made what we thought we wanted even better, through his suggestions. Not to upsell us, but to enlighten us on what he has seen in his experience that would make us happy. All while not only staying within our budget, but highly competitive to other contractors. And he was right. Looking back, we absolutely made the right choice.We have now what looks like a complete new modern build, and we couldnt be happier. Comparing this to what we would have had if we went with another company brings us so much relief. Michael was our project manager and was absolutely phenomenal. With such a large project, there are bound to be some hiccups along the way, and things that dont go quite as they were supposed to, but both Sam and Michael consistently made themselves available through the entire to process to remedy any and all issues that came up. In fact, I highly doubt that many other companies down here in South Florida would go anywhere near as far as they did to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with our final result. We were aware in advance of what the schedule would look like, and any adjustments were communicated beforehand. The company is highly professional. Contracts, payments, its all digital and easy to manage. Youll get a preview down to every detail as to what your final project will look like with their rendering software for new designs. Their company also offers a weekly maintenance program. We decided to retain them moving forward to keep our pool always ready to enjoy.

My wife and I bought the house in December and we had decided that the pool was in need of a makeover. When we were ready to move forward I reached out to Epic Watershapes, and I think Thiago came over for the consultation the next day. About 2-3 days later we received the proposed 3D rendering and quote, and I'm not sure Thiago could've come closer to the vision in my head without tapping into my brain Matrix style (with the exception of the pergola, but only because I knew where it should go, but hadn't given the design and layout much thought).I worked with Thiago over the next few days where he answered many questions about different options, and I was able to go by the shop and select the tile, pavers, and plaster color, and we were settled in on exactly what we would have done in the remodel.The project started right before the new year and Michael, Sam and the rest of the crew were working at such a blazing speed that I thought they were going to have it done in world record time. The maelstrom continued through late January when the pool finish was complete and we entered the startup phase.At this stage the project slowed down a fair bit and there were a couple of hiccups along the way. The initial deck light installation looked off because the recessed lights had a gap between the pavers and the lights that was filled with some type of sand composite that made it look a bit tacky. I had become a bit frustrated with the much slower pace because I did end up reaching out a few times for status updates. I was contemplating four stars for the review on account of the slowed timeline, but Thiago and team remedied the light issue and any other concerns with dedication to impeccable quality.Fast forward to last week (mid-April) and we have our pool oasis (as imagined), and the Epic Watershapes team truly brought the vision to life. A little slower than expected, but still in time for the summer season! I've included two photos from the original listing so the result of the metamorphosis has a starting reference point.

We recently had Epic Watershapes transform our ugly backyard into a tropical waterbased oasis. They took the vision in our minds and turned it into reality. I cannot speak highly enough of Sam and Michael and everyone on their teams. They were able to create a beautiful custom inground pool and spa that we intend to enjoy for many years to come.This company kept their word on EVERYTHING. They were super easy to work with, kept to their timeline, they were always available for any questions or problems and were exceptionally good at following through on all aspects from start to finish. All of the different crews that arrived were friendly and knowledgeable and very professional. The owners were also always available to help in any way. Epic Watershapes did an excellent job and we are excited with our pool patio renovation. They were on schedule even with inclement weather. The pictures show the before and after of the renovation. The Project Manager was informative and responsive to all our questions.
