I went to Merit Language School to improve my english in order to pass a language exam (that I kept on failing) at University of Vienna. I recently received an email saying that I passed the exam. I was over the moon with that news. Thank you so much for teaching me and being so kind, patient and helpful. I had a fantastic time by taking your course and it definitely helped me.

I have been taking English classes at Merit for a few months and my grammar is much better. I feel better when I talk to people and they understand when I speak. I am very happy because now I am less shy about talking to people at my daughters school, the store and other places.

Particularly here in South Florida, but also nationwide, we live in a bilingual world. Those of us with only one language operate at a disadvantage, both personally and professionally. For this reason and others Ive wanted to learn Spanish for quite some time. But Im well beyond the age where language acquisition comes easily. Moreover, the thought of memorizing vocabulary lists and grammatical rules wasnt particularly appealing to me, and I had a hard time finding classes that didnt interfere with my work commitments until I found Merit International School of Languages. Dr. Garrido worked out a class schedule that worked for me. Classes are small and instruction is personalized. Instead of rote memorization, we have conversations. We talk and we laugh in every single class, and somehow the memorization happens. More and more Im coming to understand when I listen to spoken Spanish, and Ive even been able to speak and to be understood. I look forward to my Spanish lessons theyve become a bright spot in my week. Id highly recommend Merit International School of Languages to anyone looking to learn a new language or to improve their language skills.

I have been taking Spanish lessons with Dr. Marta Garrido for the past three months and it has been a great experience! Within a short period of time my Spanish has gone from non-existent to nearly conversational. Dr. Garrido has a great personality and makes learning a new language fun. I strongly recommend her and Merit International School of Languages.

Friendson ,Tony ,nine years old, studied English at MERITs school for three weeks.He really liked it. Gene and her partner are great and lovely, they have a lot of patience and teach in a way that is easy to understand.Tony said that he had a very nice holiday in MERITs school.
