Makensia and her husband Gerard created such a memorable and special experience in our home. She prepared a beautiful Italian-style meal that felt both elegant and incredibly personal. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how much care and attention she puts into every detail—she even brought a stunning floral arrangement, along with an Italian-style tablecloth and full table setting that completely transformed the space.
This dinner was planned by my daughter to celebrate my birthday, and Makensia truly helped make it unforgettable. The food was delicious, the presentation was gorgeous, and the entire evening felt warm, thoughtful, and effortlessly put together.
I would absolutely recommend Makensia to anyone looking to elevate a special occasion. She brings not just amazing food, but a full experience that makes any celebration feel truly meaningful.

Where do I start?!!….KenKen was truly amazing! From the second she contacted me she was on top of it. Her professionalism made it easy to work with her because she outlined everything ahead of time and allowed for me to ask questions or add any additional input to my food choices. On the day of the 4th of July brunch she showed up early with her husband (shout out to him) and they loaded in the food without any hitch. The design of the full spread far exceeded my expectations to the point where I was blown away. I didn’t know food could look that beautiful. The waffles, French toast, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, and avocado toast were definitely the favorites amongst the group. If you’re looking for someone who not only knows how to throw down in the kitchen but also effortlessly set up a great presentation then KenKen is your person!

Could not recommend highly enough. Chef Kenken was amazing. The attention to detail and flavors she presented in her food was awesome. This was one of the best experiences I ever had. Overall food was excellent and service outstanding. I will book her again.

I had a fabulous dinner with chef Kenken . She was wonderful to work with and delivered food that the guests are still talking about,for my first foray into an event with a private chef , I was incredibly impressed and blown away. Definitely held onto her card for future events!! Highly recommended

The presentation of the food was great , it was set out in such an organized manner . And the food was even better . The quality of work was really shown through the taste of the food . I highly recommend this service. With the chicken and waffles , chicken was crunchy and very flavorful. While the waffles were fluffy to the taste . The eggs were a perfect mix of light, fluffy , and tasty .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use the freshest and best quality ingredients in every dish. The choices are endless for your events. Menus are price according to size of event and types of dishes. We offer elegant dining for intimate parties small or large group professional catering, perfect for weddings, formal events, holidays, or family gatherings. It is per person price and & gratuity optional.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We’d go through a brief consultation to discuss the client vision for your event. I’ll offer suggestions on menus to you and your guests’ preferences, dietary restrictions, allergens. Or simply exactly what you want to eat! Once pleased & you’ve confirmed everything electronically. We’ll move forward on the deposit to secure the date of your event & following up with prompt quality service at your chosen venue
