FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start all new clients with 3 personal training sessions for only $75. This is my New Client Special, and its designed to let people tryout my service with little upfront costs. I'm pretty confident that after someone experiences 3 sessions with me, they won't want to stop training. After the New Client Special, client's can choose from monthly plans that offer 8 or 12 training sessions per month at $440 and $600 respectively.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always have a sit down with new clients to hear from them what their goals are, what their health history is, and what are some of the day to day challenges they face in trying to live fit and well. From there, I start having the client perform a series of movements to assess their ability to move properly, and any weaknesses, muscular imbalances, or limits in range of motion that they may possess. Once I have this information, it's all about progressively building them up through increasing difficulty in movement patterns, intensity and volume of training in the weeks and months that follow. Any trainer can make their client tired through high-intensity mindless exercise. Skilled trainers do it in a thoughtful, progressive manner that maximizes results while minimizing injury risk.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Unlike many personal trainers on the market, I do have a college degree (BS) in Exercise Science. I also have the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification through the NSCA, which is one of the industries most respected and sought after certs.
