Introduction: I can offer anything from daily meals delivered to your home in oven heat-and-serve containers, to special full service dinner parties, with cooking lessons and demonstrations, on to full service event catering.
In all cases I work with the client's preferences, dietary restrictions, and allergies.
The food is seriously good. Salads, soups, fresh seafood, beef, pork, poultry, pastas, desserts, fresh baked breads---all prepared from fresh ingredients.
I really get a pretty big charge out of making people happy--

Bert is a seriously-talented chef and host. His restaurant experience goes back years and it shows.
He catered a sit-down dinner for 10 for us and our guests were amazed - not only by the delicious food but by Bert's warm, welcoming style.
Our dinner started with cream of mushroom and leek soup, garden greens and Bert's own vinaigrette.
The main course was mint-glazed rack of lamb, roasted red potatoes and asparagus, again with Bert's own hollandaise.
Dessert was his creme brule' topped with fresh whipped cream, both Bert's creations as well.
If you wish to host a can't-fail dinner party for your friends, family or business associates your best bet is to give Bert a call.

Wow. Bert Woodson is the most AMAZING private chef around! I have had the opportunity to utilize Bert's services only twice, but I will never forget how awesome he was, and how delicious his food is. The first time I hired him to cook for a party 10 people (at my home) From the moment he arrived, it was like having a Michelin Chef in attendance. His appetizers, the entree, the sides and the desert - were each tastier than the first. Paired with excellent wine (Bert chose very well) every single person in attendance wanted MORE. The second time I had the pleasure of hiring him, the party was for 20 people, Bert shined just as bright. The pressure of the large group did not faze him, and yet again the crowd wanted MORE! Do not hesitate, Bert is your man!

This guy is Amazing....from his easy going attitude to his awesome food preparation...He is off the charts with taste and creativity! We discussed what I wanted....He even schooled me on what wines and cocktails would go best with my meal. Bert came to my home and prepared a meal for nine of my friends for a Birthday celebration. Not only was the food amazing, the presentation was outstanding too! He chatted with my guests to find out what portions were needed and to see if anyone had any dislikes. I can tell you he is a bit of a ham and loves the attention but was very professional too :) From prep time to finish he was here around 4 hours.... He is a very "seasoned" chef....so after he cleans up...you may have to clean a little more. I would most certainly have him back again and would let him pick the meal plan next time!! You will be highly impressed with the quality of service you get with Bert!

Bert is more than a pretty face in the kitchenâhe helped me plan the evening from beginning to end.
He is creative in presentation and his buffet is a work of art.
He has an extraordinary repertoire of entertainment and menu choicesâhe has a certain flair rarely found in a chefâhe is eager to accommodate any individual needs of guests as to diet and allergies. He obviously loves what he does and sets a happy atmosphere that carries through the evening. He is very well-traveled and has in-depth knowledge of ethnic foods and customs.
When I meet one of the guests subsequent to the dining experience, they always ask about Bert and want to know when we will have another dinnerâ¦

Bert has catered several events and dinner parties for me (large & small). His food is amazing! His presentation is outstanding! He is brilliant with all types of food and creates masterpiece dishes from whatever is available to him! Bert has a special talent with food creation! He is also very reliable and great to work with! I highly recommend Bert for any catering job! Connie
